Wahlburgers

Just got into town and needed a quick bite to eat before our tour of the Steelers stadium. Great food. Fast service. And they had my favorite beer on tap yuengling.

The good:Both kids' meals drew raves from my young daughters. The chicken strips were juicy and tender, a little under-seasoned but you expect that in a kids meal (I was allowed to have a bite). Likewise my youngest's mac 'n cheese was surprisingly good: penne pasta in a silky, delicious cheddar sauce. Actually a pretty "grownup" take on mac 'n cheese, but my kid devoured it. Good show, Wahlburger's.The fries were on point, obviously made from fresh potatoes, double fried. Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Could have used a little more seasoning. Not amazing, but solid.Our server Chanele was excellent, friendly but unobtrusive, speedy, on top of things.The bad:Maybe a nitpick, but: the side of applesauce that one of the girls requested was incredibly bland. It was like something they give you at the hospital. I'm not really going to count it against them because it wasn't anything prepared in the kitchen, just a prepackaged serving they have on hand for kids who request it. Still though, Wahlburger's: it wouldn't kill you to stock a better grade of applesauce for the kiddies. My daughter took one bite and set it aside. I tasted it and honestly couldn't blame her.The meh:The only real disappointment was my burger, which at a restaurant with "burger" in the name is a pretty big disappointment. The patty was thin, dry and chewy and seemed suspiciously like it might have been cooked from frozen. The rest of the burger - the bun, toppings, cheese, and house sauce - were all fine, but that doesn't make up for the sub-par patty. C'mon, Wahlburger's. When you charge $12 for a basic burger that is supposed to be your main attraction, it's gotta be better than this. I ate it but it was definitely nothing to write home about.Chances of a repeat visit: medium-low. Only if my daughters want to go for the above-average chicken fingers and mac 'n cheese.

Well... this places sucks at best!!!First off, I'll never understand why anyone would want to work in the food service industry and have the personality of a cardboard box and the communication skills of a toddler whose mom didn't buy them something they wanted. So with that being said. We walked in after a nice day in downtown Pittsburgh to grab a bite to eat and a drink before heading back to the airport and this place was empty other than the three waitresses sitting at the bar on their phones talking about social media. Like Hey, you're only two customers just walked in come great us and get off your phones. God forbid the bartender had to actually get up and walk over to us with a smug look on her face and not welcome us or anything. I was annoyed and said, Busy? Happening place I see! She responded like she didn't understand English. Zero smile, zero personality, zero human interaction skills. Gross!!! If you're a restaurant in a mall in a busy area like Robinson and you're empty that should tell you everything you need to know. Close so another restaurant with better food and employees can open. Tbh: We ordered only fried pickles because the girls attitude was trash! Your loss Miss Personality! With that being said, the fried pickles tasted like grease that hadn't been changed in a month and the pickles weren't pickles they were dehydrated cucumbers with zero taste or flavor.I wouldn't come back to this place if they gave me free meals for a week. Do yourself a favor and fire your whole staff and hire new management so they can make sure they vet people correctly who appreciate their jobs and know how to earn a living by actually doing their jobs properly.Zero Stars

I've been visiting this area for several years now and have always stayed within a few miles of this mall, but never actually went into the mall because it looks so dead from the out when driving by; therefore, I never went to the Wahlburgers inside, because I read mixed reviews and assumed it might not be that good... Well, I finally went today and I was very impressed with the service and the food!The service was great, friendly, and helpful. The restaurant is nicely decorated and pretty big inside. The menu is interesting and has several unique items... all of it looks appetizing. My food was great! The chili was tasty and the burger was fresh and very nicely done!I would definitely return!!

This restaurant is located in the Robinson Mall. The restaurant was very clean and staff was nice and accommodating. We went on a Wednesday night for dinner and it wasn't crowded at all. My burger was juicy, but not too greasy (how I like it). But the patty was extremely thin, which was disappointing. The special sauce for sure makes the burger better. My overall opinion is that the burger is average, not nearly as good as Five Guys, Shake Shack, or In N Out.The parmesan truffle tater tots are 10/10 and were the best part of our dinner so highly recommend that app.

The food here is amazing. When I say you need to come here I mean it fr. Most people would look past the fact the this restaurant is in the mall, but honestly this is an amazing restaurant. The service was excellent, real and highly aware of what you are actually asking for. I didn't even have to ask for a refill. They came directly to mine seat and refilled all of our drinks. I honestly will give this on a 10 out of 10, so it was amazing cooked well done. I end up getting the tater tots and the super melt burger, which came out excellent and high-quality.I just wanna say thank you to this staff at this restaurant because it was ultimately excellent .

I was severely disappointed with my experience at Wahlburgers this past Saturday. My brother, fiance, and I stopped by for lunch and a round of drinks. We decided to sit at the bar because it seemed as though they were short staffed, and we thought it would make it easier on them. While we were sipping our drinks, two young men came along with a speaker and a microphone. They were blasting music and trying to get people to sing into the microphone. They were making most of the patrons uncomfortable, so the manager (I think?) asked them to stop. Although they eventually stopped, they continued to complain, harass the patrons, and talk with the staff. It seemed as if the staff may have known them? By the time our food came out, we were beyond ready to leave. Additionally, I ordered an "entree salad." It was very, very small, and it was quite disappointing, especially for the price. After our visit, I emailed customer service, but I have yet to receive a reply. I feel as though we were undervalued, disrespected, and taken advantage of during this experience. I used to love their happy hour, but I can confidently say that I will not return.

The best Cobb salad ever! Nicely chopped, fresh ingredients were delicious. Homemade blue cheese dressing, at least it tastes home made, was amazingly good. I watched the burgers go by and kind of regretted my order lol, but really enjoyed this salad and will definitely repeat this order!!!The Block at Northway is actually a good place to stop on a Friday evening around 5:30p.m. you can get seated and served and eventhough its occupied, it's nit crazy busy and feels comfortable. Servers and staff are kind and friendly too, which is always appreciated.

Fun atmosphere, ok food. We ordered two burgers and fries with everything on them. The cheese on the fries was not real. The burgers weren't spectacular. Chocolate shake was the best! Owned by Mark Wahlberg was the main appeal !

The food tasted amazing! The service was great and friendly. I just overall love Donnie wahlberg so was excited to try this place. Will definitely be going back
