Volant Mills Winery

This location might only be a tasting room for Volant Mills Winery, but I love it! The staff is knowledgeable, they have a large selections of wines to taste, and all of them are good to decent (expect the Elderberry-stay away!) They also host multi-winery and food festivals that are amazing! Every time I am out this way, I stop and pick up a few bottles of Riesling and Blackberry wines (and now probably their Sangria mix bags and Volant Red since I love the "adult slushy" they make together).

I discovered this place when traveling to Grove City Outlets and there use to be only stores north of the city. I'm so glad they are at Janoski's, only 8 miles up the road! I have tasted many of their sweet wines, hate dry wine but they have that too if that is your thing. My favorites are Coco Vino (just a hint not overdone chocolate taste), Chamborain (sp - stronger sweet wine), Volant Red, Blackberry. If you combine Chamborain & Blackberry it makes for a nice drink. I highly recommend this place. I've sampled wines from various local wineries and Volant has them beat. I can't imagine why slushy wine would have any appeal to adults but again if that is your thing. I'm glad most of their wine is in classy bottles in liquid form.
