This was an amazing experience. Traveled in from Ohio and celebrating our 32 wedding anniversary and boy did Josh go over the top such an incredible meal and the cocktails were delicious. Thank you Vivo for making our anniversary extra special

Amazing ambiance and food. Upscale experience, Dim lighting, super cozy. We had the roasted chicken and it was excellent, super crispy & juicy.

Such a fantastic experience at Vivo! The ambiance is warm and inviting--perfect for a cozy date night or a fun evening out with friends. We decided to skip the main dishes and instead ordered a selection of appetizers for dinner, which turned out to be the best way to sample a bit of everything. Every dish was delicious, but the mushrooms were a standout favorite! The service was exceptional as well; the staff was incredibly welcoming, and our server had wonderful menu recommendations. Can't wait for my next visit!

Came here for a business event recently and was very impressed. Quick summary:-I was visiting from NYC and love nothing more than a high quality meal. Vivo Kitchen exceeded my expectations-Everything was family style, but I made an effort to try everything put out. All ingredients were fantastic. From the veggies to actual proteins (salmon, steak, pork loin). The crab dip also stood out. -Didn't drink, but this place has quite the bar. Lots of great options, some of which you probably won't find anywhere else in the area-Sam (the owner) and his staff were all warm, welcoming, and professional. If you live within an hour of Vivo Kitchen, this should be your go-to place. Will absolutely be back if the opportunity allows when I'm back in the Pittsburgh area.

After passing on the duck leg appetizer many times tonight we both tried it. It's great. They also offered a fig salad which also was excellent. As always service was perfect. I can't say more.

Had cheese app, meatball app, strip steak, branzino (fish of the day), asparagus and cauliflower sides. All were prepared to an acceptable standard. But the meatball with the pimento-tasting sauce was the only thing i would call "interesting". The whole menu is for the unadventurous. I guess that is what sells in western PA......

I had the best birthday dinner at Vivo Kitchen!This was our first time visiting Vivo, but it has been on my list for quite some time! You definitely need to make a reservation because it is a very intimate space. The hostess and our waitress were both amazing! They were welcoming and inclusive. Although my boyfriend and I are 29 and 30 years old, we look much younger, and we don't always get treated with respect in nicer restaurants. I really appreciate the restaurants that treat us well! The food was divine. We ordered the Pesto Crustini as our appetizer, and I can't speak highly enough about the pesto... YUM. I had the shrimp in a chili sauce with potatoes for my entree, and my boyfriend had the whole chicken with potatoes. My shrimp was great, but the fried chicken was even better! The chicken was hands down the best I've ever had. Our waitress put a candle in our dessert, which was a great finishing touch! We had a great experience at Vivo and cannot wait to return for another special occasion!

We walked in without a reservation. The hostess sat us at the bar and the drinks were amazing but the food was fabulous. The bartender was very entertaining and his cocktails were spot on! We will be back and make reservations next time!

The beverages were skillfully made and the food was exceptional! The intimate space offers a cozy, luxurious dining experience. I had a reservation to treat a friend from out of town for a special occasion and we were pleased with the meal. Unfortunately, we felt rushed out as the server brought the check, which was followed promptly by the hostess stopping by and tapping on the bill. We had just ordered cocktails and we intended to stay.

Unacceptable to have the hostess come to your table and pressure you to leave because the "next reservation has arrived and this is their table". Been here a few times and first time we felt rushed, but can see from other reviews now that it's not unusual. We weren't even there more than 10 minutes after eating dessert when this happened. I'm not sure if she was directed to do this or did it on her own but either way it's unacceptable to make guests feel rushed. Having been a server before, I get the need to turn tables, so we'd never camp at a table. The business and servers earn their keep by turning the tables but it has to be done so respectfully and without making people feel rushed and not wanted. The food and server were excellent, but feeling welcome is what brought us back. Other places have excellent food AND make you feel welcome.
