Vito's Pizzeria & Italian Restaurant

Amazing as always! My favorite place to take mom for lunch! Staff are very friendly and accommodating! Definitely a five star place!!

Great place for a whole pizza or a great slice! Has a great local charm feel. The other menu items a tasty also but the pizza is worth it.

Vito's has some of the best Italian food on the west slope. Always a fan favorite of the railfans in the area. Their homemade bread is great, reasonable prices & quick service.

Holy cow! My husband and I decided to take a drive and we started to get a little hungry. I typed in the town in our hand dandy yelp restaurant locater. Came across Vito's and let me just tell you! Make a point to stop here! The pizza is phenomenal and the fresh bread subs is superb. I been trying to find a goooooood sub with fresh bread on top of the mountain. Well Vito congratulations you just made 5 new customers plus I'll be dropping your name to every person I know. His house dressing is delicious! We will be back!

This is my personal favorite pizza place in the area. The owner is often there working right alongside everyone else. There is a menu of a variety of Italian dishes, pizza and more. They only take cash for payment but no worries there is an ATM inside if you don't carry cash. The employees are always friendly. I usually get their pizza by the slice or my favorite is their steak and cheese stromboli. Some places put the sauce inside the stromboli but one of the reasons I love this place is because it's always served on the side. From the dining area you can watch your food go in the oven and it will be brought to your table if you're dining in. They do have a restroom and it's always clean. The one downside is he doesn't deliver but it's always worth going out to get!

I'm not going to lie, the food tastes good and it is relatively cheap when it comes to pricing nowadays, but there are just some aspects about this place that turn me off.First, I've been to Vito's twice. I went a few years back as a student, and I went in today after a course I had taken (as a teacher). Both times I ended up sick after the meal. A few years back I got a major stomach virus/food poisoning from the place. I honestly thought it had to have been something I caught somewhere else, so I decided to give Vitos a try again today. Literally within an hour, I had major gastrointestinal issues. I've been on the toilet all day dealing with it. I ate only breakfast before Vito's and I had no problems after breakfast. After lunch at Vito's, I had nothing. So I know the problem had to be this place. Another thing that was a big turn-off was that the older man who was preparing the food (Vito himself?!) was not wearing any gloves while preparing the food (right in front of me). I ordered 2 slices with a topping. He used his bare hands for all of it, then wiped his hands on his dirty apron afterward. When I pulled out my money to pay, HE TOOK THE MONEY WITH HIS SAME BARE HANDS. He gave me change too! And he didn't wash his hands before moving to the next order. I get that it's the lunch rush, but honestly, you can't be gross and have bad hygiene- especially in the restaurant industry. When I traveled to other countries, even there, they wore gloves and when they took your money, they changed their gloves or took the glove off. Because if you don't do that, it's just nasty. Ultimately, I'd say, "fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me. Fool me 3 times..." well, there won't be a 3rd time for Vito's because I won't be returning. And I can guarantee it was probably the lack of proper food handling that made me sick. I should've known better.

Awesome Italian food and cool spot.I had both Sicilian pizza and regular both were great and the hoagies are fresh and delicious!My gosh!!! Just had a medium steak calzone and it was gigantic and delicious

This was a good place to stop for casual Italian dining. I had the chicken Parmesan dinner. It came with a small salad, which was solid -- the lettuce was fresh, and the Italian dressing tasted homemade. The pasta sauce also tasted homemade. The chicken was crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and nice and cheesy. Service was very friendly. They have a pinball machine, too. The restaurant is cash only, and there's an ATM.

Delicious! Had the Italian, Meatball, and Turkey subs, thru were all fantastic. Bread was delicious. Turkey had the taste and texture of actual meat- not the jello stuff you get at chains. Can't wait to come back and try the pizza, which looked amazing.

Classic New York style pizza. Delicious. The owner, Vito is an icon in the area. No one does it better than Vito's for pizza, Stromboli and subs. They have classic Italian dishes as well with weekly specials.
