I'm in Butler about once a month and I always stop (for about 10 years now) at Vin & Joe's for a beer and a bowl of hearty soup such as Stuffed Pepper, Chicken Pot Pie, or Baked Potato along with some rye bread.I can't speak for the service since I'm usually there around 3:00 pm when there are few customers. The wait staff is always friendly and cheerful. The atmosphere is typical neighborhood bar and restaurant.

My son took me out for lunch. Although I grew up in the Butler area, I had never eaten here before - had only been to the bar side. I relocated back here after 30 year away, and am trying out all my old faves, and new places too. We BOTH agreed that the food was top notch, and the service was great. I had the hot sausage sandwich with onions and peppers. I was surprised that it was a patty, and not a link, but it was easier to eat this way. Flavor was great. And it was not at all greasy. The bun was lightly toasted, but still soft. I also had the zucchini planks. They were served hot, and you could tell that the fry oil was "clean" (light golden brown with no funky aftertaste). The ranch was really good, didnt taste heavy on the mayo. My son had the bacon cheeseburger and the chicken planks. The chicken was incredible - he wouldn't let me taste his burger...lol, bit he inhaled it with 2 thumbs up. We split a 1/2 pound of fries.... again served hot and fried to perfection. Did not taste or even feel greasy. Beer on tap is cold, service comes with a smile, and prices are very reasonable. Just remember to bring cash....however. there IS an ATM machine ( with applicable fees) if you forget. Joint consensus... Both happy and full! We WILL be back to try out more menu items!!!

I've lived in this area for over 7 years and never tried this place so last night I thought, what the hay lets give it a shot and boy was it a huge disappointment! From the start the waitress was less then helpful.. She asked us for our drink order and I asked do you have Pepsi or coke products she replied "we have some of both" not explaining which ones so I asked for a diet coke "we only have diet Pepsi" i asked for a cherry Pepsi. "we don't have that" so i asked do you have marachino cherries to put in the pepsi "no" so by this time I was already fed up so I said I'll have a diet pepsi. To my surprise she came back with a can of diet pepsi and a glass of ice, confused I looked at the menu 1.25 for a can of pop?! Also to my surprise they offered fountain drinks, which I assumed I was getting, silly me, but get this even if I had gotten it they only offer one refill! I could tell already this place was a rip off. I ordered the Monday Wing "special" which wasn't very special.. 7.50 for half dozen jumbo wings which normally cost 7.99 and you had to pay 50 cents extra for sauce, really? I chose buttery garlic and when my wings came out they didn't even toss them in the sauce! They gave me a little cup full of it to which I had to modestly dip my half dozen jumbo wings in making sure I didn't use it all.. I gave this review two stars because the wings were actually delicious but the experience was terrible. After i finished my meal I got the check and went to pay with my debit card and yep you guessed it CASH ONLY. Of course there was no sign but coincidentally they had an ATM in the corner,Yay. My bill was 22.00 and some change.. And of course there was a 2.00 fee from the ATM and it only gave out multiples of 20! I had to pull 40$ out to pat a 22 dollar bill and in my opinion if a place doesn't take debit or credit in 2017 they shouldn't give you a surcharge to use their ATM! It's just bad business. Needless to say I will never be giving these crap hole, cheap skate rip off artists my business ever again. Eat there at you own risk!

OK, dingy little place that happens to have the best wings I've ever had. Do NOT go on Karaoke night if you are sensitive to tonedeaf screeching. Otherwise the yokels are cheerful, oblivious to the fact that East Butler is not paradise.

If you really need a quick meal or drink, then come here. My God I had the best Italian hoagie I have ever had even though the size of it was depressing. Haha! But, this place is great. The feel of it was energetic. Which is great for a bar. This staff is efficient and positive which gets the job done. The prices aren't bad either. But in all this place is on the plus side and hopefully it will stay that way!

This place has with out a doubt the best wing sauce in the World! There are so many ingredients that make it hard to identify all the tastes that hit your palate that every bite is a surprise.
