Blackened Chicken Alfredo. That's a regular order split in half. I get one half my wife gets the other. Very filling!

This small family owned establishment is always perfect. Quick, fast, efficient service. The food is ALWAYS perfect. The blackened salmon salad is my go to meal to enjoy from here. This time around I ordered the chicken Alfredo and it was perfection. Creamy and chicken cooked perfectly. The side salad is a perfect start. We can't ever leave here without getting garlic bread to go. The garlic bread is garlic and sooo buttery. This is such a cute restaurant and you can tell that love goes into every dish sent out of that small kitchen.

Many times you can't go wrong if you eat local. Verona Village Inn proves this! I just wanted to try something different with my mom and sister. And we scored! The service is personable and quick. The food is delicious. The food is cost efficient. Can you believe that my salmon salad was $13.99? Right, neither can I. As mentioned in the photo, the bleu cheese crumbles and French fries were extra but all in, my meal was $21 including a 20% tip. W I L D. Parking is a little limited but we figured it out. This definitely felt like a local meetup spot. Within an hour of opening, half of the dining room was full.

The casual atmosphere is great, very friendly people throughout the restaurant and kitchen and most importantly, since it is a restaurant; the food is amazing. It is also quite fairly priced. If you dig Italian food and don't want the black tie formalities, add this place to your favorite GPS app!

This spot is 5 minutes from our house and it's our new go to for a good Italian dinner. We've only done takeout but the staff is so incredibly kind! The food is amazing. Great prices and large portions. Mostly all of the entrees come with soup, salad and garlic bread. The wedding soup is to die for and the garlic bread is buttery and delicious. So far we've had the stuffed shells, baked penne and chicken Parmesan - all excellent. Their desserts are killer too, try the cannoli!!! I also had a special of pumpkin cheesecake and it was nothing like I've had before. Love this spot and would definitely recommend!!

First time eating here, soup was ok, salad was ok, ranch dressing was terrible, the worst chicken piccata, and the pasta was bland and was just spaghetti with sauce, no fresh cheese, one and done

How have I not reviewed Village before?! This has been a staple in my house since I was little. My family has been going here regularly since before I was born! Village Inn is a little Italian restaurant in Verona (about 20 min from Pittsburgh). You can smell the garlic bread when you pull in the parking lot. It's old school, homestyle Italian. I'm so glad they made it through the pandemic! I hadn't been there since Summer time, so we were overdue for a trip. When my family lived in Oakmont we got takeout probably every couple weeks. Theresa is our favorite waitress! Most of the staff have worked there for many, many years, and most of the customers are "regulars". Some of our favorite things to order are the fried zucchini for an appetizer. We like to squeeze the lemon juice on it and then sprinkle some parm cheese. You dip it in their famous Village Sauce (smooth red marinara), and *chef's kiss*, delicioso! Each meal comes with wedding soup and salad and garlic bread. The loaves are garlic bread are very greasy (buttery), and are perfect for soaking up the pasta sauce. My parents really love the chicken marsala, and we all love the baked scrod. I've also tried the stuffed scrod before and it was really yummy too! You can pick a side (broccoli, rice, or pasta), so obviously we all get pasta. My favorite is the homemade fettuccine noodles (I think the pasta is fresh, but dried), with their chunky garlic marinara. You have to really love garlic like I do to enjoy this sauce. Over the past few years, my "new" favorite dish is the Alla Pescatore. It's seafood pasta with mushrooms. It is supposed to come with linguine and oil and garlic, but I substitute for the fettuccine and chunky garlic marinara. They don't advertise it, but you can take your own bottle of wine for a $3/glass fee. They also serve wine by the glass and the carafe, and the Chianti is just ok. We usually take our own bottle. I like to finish the meal with a cannoli. Their pizza is also awesome (and super cheap) for takeout. We ate so many large square pizzas while packing up our house before moving. The food is consistently good. This is still one of my favorite restaurants. Oh, AND your whole bill will be half the price of any other Italian restaurant. A typical meal is $15 and comes with pasta, soup, salad, and bread. You can't beat it! If you dine in, make sure to ask for Theresa!

Went with some friends for dinner. It's been many years since I had been there, and they've never been there, and I'm so glad we choose this place. Everything about it was good! Waitress, taste of the food, the large portions. Can't wait to go back! Our whole table was so very pleased!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Pittsburgh! When I visit family in the area it is understood that we will have at least one meal at Verona Inn during our stay.Portions are fulfilling and tasty and the service is friendly with a family atmosphere. Dinners are a complete deal with soup, salad, entree and side of pasta!
