Fantastic place to come and relax but also to enjoy great food and service. The decor is spot on. The tacos are highly recommended but most of all the great people that work here Sam, Issac,Conner in the kitchen and Carly in the bar area. Sometimes you find a spot that you promise to return but then do not. Well you all we will be back!!!

Visited on a Friday at 4pm (day before the first game of the season) and it was busy but tables were still available. I got the El Capitan burger and it was DELICIOUS. My husband got the Giovanni sandwich and it was delicious too. Highly recommend getting a side of the jalopeno ranch which we ate with the fries and onion rings.

Buffalo Chicken wrap & Philly egg rolls were 10/10. Huge menu with lots to choose from. Chipotle chicken wrap was decent and sweet potato fries could of used more time in the fryer. Awesome restaurant with daily specials. Service was great.

This is a great place close to the Mountaineers football stadium. Big, varied meni and food was great.

Location is ideal for football games. Get there early. Staff is great. Liquor selection is phenomenal. Food is average. Great to watch sports as they have many TVs and will accommodate any game you prefer.

Located across from the football stadium, we came in for a late lunch. It took a while for our server to come by and it wasn't crazy busy, she would forget waters, silverware, etc. Food wise we ordered two steaks, one rare and one medium, a chicken wrap and a chicken crunch wrap. Their menu is really varied and a lot of things looked great. We also started with the pickle chips and the buffalo egg rolls which we loved. They also give you pretzels for the table. They have fish bowls here but the liquor drinks are pretty watered down so beers more bang for your buck.The wrap was great, I loved the smoked cheddar and the sidle pickle was great. The steaks were not cooked to order- the rare steak came out basically well done. Great place for bar food but maybe not steak or if you're in a rush.

Popped in to this place for lunch after being recommended by some locals. It's right across of the WVU stadium and other businesses. Lots of WV memorabilia on its walls throughout the entire restaurant and features the major sports and athletes. Very cool. Staff was very friendly and readily answered a couple questions on their food offerings which is quite extensive. Ordered a turkey panini sandwich and it comes with choice of fries or chips so I went with the chips. The sandwich was huge and was able to finish one half of it along with the chips and refillable fountain drinks. Overall, would recommend the Varsity Club but from what I've been told, the place is usually packed on game nights. The food was very good and service was excellent.

My favorite place in town. Great beer, great food and the service is great!! The variety is wonderful and the atmosphere is what you want to see in a college town

Service and food quality is outstanding. Views of the stadium make an impressive ambiance. There's no hostess seating you so you get to pick a good spot to sit. Great specials, large, unique diverse menu. Best dive in the entire state.

Went in for a late lunch on an away game Saturday. Wasn't crowded but took a while to get a server, we finally went to the bar to ask if someone could get us drinks. Everything on the special menu was sold out and no substitutions offered. Good food and nice atmosphere.
