Valdiserri's Bakery

First time there and it was really good. Not a fan of the slice of cake but everything else was delicious. Their rolls are sooo soft and delicious. Had a Tuesday sale of rolls and their homemade speciality butters. Got maple Pecan. Omg sooo delicious!! Also got two cannolis and two cupcakes. Only $18.70 for all we got! Such great prices! The employee we had was very sweet and definitely made us want to return. It's a very cute store and even though we showed up like 5 mins before close, she was still sweet and accommodating.

I like this bakery and they have some really great items. The day old stuff is a great deal. Customer service could be a bit better. I've been there times where people seemed annoyed they had to wait on me and other times they were friendly. I was annoyed that when I needed to park to shop there today, their van took up two spaces (see photo). I thought that was terribly inconsiderate to the public and to their customers. I had to turn around down the street to park across the street.

My family went to Valdiserri's for years.Actually....my sister & I grew up with birthday cakes from there every year & they were the best cakes I can remember eating !! I believe one of the owners was Marge & the store was in Bentleyville at that time. She was the nicest lady & so was the younger woman who worked there...her name I think was Vicky. When we needed a lot of buns for special occasions, Mom would get them from there. To sum it up.....everyone that worked there was really sweet & the cakes & buns were totally DELICIOUS.

So many improvements have been made over the last two years! From the quality of the product to the staff ! You gotta try their new sweet dough pepperoni rolls they have soooooo many different cheeses too its unreal. My personal favorites are pepper Jack and ghost pepper. The new cake decorator is really friendly and talented as well. Also i hear they have awesome fundraisers too

Absolutely marvelous bakery. Worth the trip out of your way. Originally started by Italians in the area. Still the same quality and recipes. Bread and donuts great. Homemade biscotti.

I usually buy sweets here about twice a month. Very tasty, usually pick the maple star, lady locks or fruit pie. Once in a while it seems the pastries are a bit stale, not sure why if they're baked fresh daily?? Still good though.

I have been using Valdiseri's bakery for a ling time now. The bread and baked goods are always fresh and full of flavor. If you need a large order of buns for a party in the Mon Valley area then this should be your first stop. Call ahead and give them your order (a day or two beforehand) and a time for pick up and they will get you on your way.

Chocolate cake with chocolate icing. One birthday wish written in blue- how hard was that? Apparently too confusing for this cake shop. Save yourself time and money! Make a betty Crocker mix instead

This bakery offers great food, but I will not go there because of the sorry customer service. There is an elderly woman who works there most of the time that needs to tell her face that she is alive and lives among human beings in a great country (not in China). If you go there and ask her questions, ie. if she will cut up a loaf of bread, she will give you a disgusted look and act like it is going to be so hard for her, although she has a machine that does it for her in seconds. I guess taking the bread out of the bag and putting it in the machine and then putting the bread back in the bag is too much work for her! Truly, it would immensely help the business if a bright, cheerful and welcoming counter employee were there to greet the customers who, by the way, make it possible for you to stay in business and have a job! Perhaps she needs to retire and take up knitting or something? Please seriously consider this, and your business might take flight and flourish in Belle Vernon! I for one would buy more food there if I knew she were gone! P.S. I might add in that there is another older woman who works there sometimes who is much friendlier!

I purchase bread weekly at the bakery. I stop in on my way to work, bright and early. The morning staff are always ready to help me out! I purchase bread here because it is preservative free and is the best for my soy/Nickel allergy. The donuts are delicious....
