Union Hall

Union Hall was PERFECT for our tiny wedding. Andrew, the manager, is a delight to work with - very responsive and accommodating. The food was seasonal and delicious - and Shelby served up the best cocktails and wine. Lovely ambiance, amazing food/drink, and talented staff - many thanks!Another amazing part about the space is the art they showcase. During our wedding the artist was Pittsburgh-based Zoë Welsh. My husband I were lucky enough to snag one of her pieces that was on display during the wedding!

I LOVE Bar Marco, but had never been upstairs to Union Hall. They rent the space out for private events like bridal showers, birthday parties, fundraisers, and even small weddings! They can accommodate up to 65 people for a seated dinner. I think there were about 40 people at the party I went to, and it was very comfortable! You go up the steps inside Bar Marco, and the bar was right when we walked in. Everyone working was super friendly! There were a few specialty cocktails to choose from or wine. I had a drink made with aperol and vodka and it was refreshing and delicious. My boyfriend had a glass of Sauvignon Blanc and it was super crisp and grapefruit-y. The space itself is an art gallery. I loved all of the abstract art on the walls. The windows at the far end of the room overlook Penn Avenue. It was a great space for a private event. The food was incredible as always. I love the gemelli with pesto. The montepulciano was the perfect pairing with the pasta and my zucchini parmesan. I will definitely keep this place in mind next time I'm looking for somewhere to have a party!
