Union Brothers Brewing

Very nice restaurant. Huge outdoor seating area. Great beers, great food, great service.Went with the fish sandwich. Huge piece of fried fish with lettuce and tomato. Very tasty, however, bottom bun was pretty soggy by the time it arrived and not nearly enough tartar sauce for the entire thing. Fries and coleslaw were good. Pretty standard. The beers were amazing. Tried one of their IPAs and a lager. Overall, had a great time. Will be back. 4 stars strictly due to the sad wet bottom bun.

One of the best beer spots in Pittsburgh. Large draft list always has new beers to try and plenty of styles, something for everyone. Their 957 light lager is $3 everyday, and they run specials daily too. Food is always good! Love their wings, smash burgers (get a double!) and sweet potato fries. Friendly staff and plenty have been around for a long time. Outdoors in the summer allows plenty of space for dogs and live music. Plenty of seating inside and at the bar that has multiple TVs. Always will recommend this spot, we are almost here weekly!

One of my favorite breweries, and the first time I visited, they had 7 hazy IPAs on draft--each one was incredible. Now, we're at their new, larger location for the first time, and it's fantastic! The added space is a great upgrade, making it an even better place to enjoy. Cheers!

If you don't read this whole review, just GO to Union Brothers Brewing. This was my first time here and I live a solid 40 minutes away. After this amazing experience, I won't even blink an eye driving that distance to go here again.The outdoor seating is amazing, there is so much seating- multiple firepits (hello Solo Stoves!), picnic tables and more. It was raining a little bit when we went but still decided to sit outside. All of the tables have umbrellas so we weren't even phased by the rain. The outdoors especially is very kid friendly. The kids we were with were able to walk around and explore without any issues. UBB's outdoor area is dog friendly, they even have water bowls for your pups.My fiance got UBB Hefe (#2) and he really enjoyed it. He also got the Blackberry Marshmallow Sour and LOVED it! He said it was the "weirdest" sour he's ever tried but really, really liked it. I am not the biggest beer drinker so I got their "outsourced" Orange Crush seltzer by Escape Goat (made in PA). This is my new favorite vodka seltzer, I'm truly amazed by it. The flavor was wonderful! For food, we got the Buffalo Fried Cauliflower to start. Usually fried cauliflower can be mushy on the inside but this was not. The breading was crispy and the cauliflower was firm. It can with ranch to dip in. So good and will be definitely getting it again! My fiance and I both had the Union Brothers Cheeseburger. WOW! Such a good burger, cooked to perfection. The hand-cut fries are really good too. The service was good and every staff member we talked to was really friendly & helpful. Overall, I cannot wait to go back to UBB! I will drive the distance any day, our experience was THAT good!

I think Union Brothers brand new larger location is opening very soon (270 Mercer St in Harmony) , so this is probably my last stop at this location before it closes. Always tasty food & good beer on tap & available in cans to go. Live music. Great outdoor space. Friendly bartenders. I had the sliders lunch special & a yummy cheeseburger soup today with their Union Break ipa.

We've had Union Brewing on our "To visit" list for some time, and while the weather didn't cooperate with eating outside we still had a great meal.The wings were very large and reasonably priced for 12. I was hoping for a little more crisp but the hot sauce was tasty and the wings came out hot. I thought the steak sandwich was to die for as it was somewhere between a steak melt, a cheesesteak and a French dip. The fries were also good, but once again lacked a little crisp.The "funnel cake" fries were good, but they really should be called "churro" fries as they were crispy and covered in cinnamon sugar so it's a much more realistic name for what you get.I tried two of their hazy imperial IPAs, one of which I really enjoyed, one of which I couldn't finish as it has a bit of a funky after taste. But I would definitely be back to try some of their other varieties.

Food was excellent. We had the most fabulous fish on a dish and the fries were amazing! The biggest piece of fish and the beer batter was excellent. Evan was our waiter and he was just great! We will be back!

We stopped in on a wet afternoon and dodged some raindrops on the way in (there's more parking around the back). The place was busy but not too much for our family of four to feel right at home. There were some other families around and once everything dried up they were able to move outside as well. We were seated right away and our waitress Lindsay was on top of everything. She had great suggestions on how to start sampling the brews. You can order as many 5oz trials as you'd like so it works just like a traditional flight would. The beer was really great and everything from the IPAs to the sours were top notch. I grabbed some 4 packs to bring home and enjoy later. Kids really felt like big wigs with a glass coke bottle all to themselves. We started with the pretzel as an appetizer which we all devoured with ease. The nachos were good and a nice quantity for an entree. My special "That's My Jam" smash burger was on point with balsamic bacon jam to bring it all together. The choice of sweet potato fries were a welcome bonus. My son was all over the grilled Mac and cheese with bacon and my daughter gobbled up the kids Mac n cheese. We'll be back soon!

We had our class reunion here last weekend and it was perfect! Good selection and the service is fast. Food was delicious comfort food at a solid price. It's spacious and clean, and the outside is fun and a great spot for cold evenings. Love the fire pits, back deck, plenty of picnic tables, heaters and a pavilion.

The food was really good with good size portions. Our server was very friendly. We noticed a lot of families with children and we learned that there is a game room for kids and adults to use to help keep kids entertained. They had a large selection of beers and the server was helpful in suggesting the right one for our taste. I had the pastrami sandwich with fries and my husband had the fish on a dish with fries and slaw. The only surprising thing was when we got the bill we were charged a dollar for extra cocktail sauce for the fish which we needed as the fish was huge. It isn't a fancy place but the food was really good.
