Went in looking to do a pick your own six pack. They had a few six pack holders ready to go off in a corner. None or at least most of the individual beers had prices on them, so you don't know what each one costs. I picked mostly cans of decently well-known breweries, and somehow a six pack came up to be over $20. Although others probably had better experiences here, I will take my business elsewhere. Place does have a good selection, and is in a nice location.

Expensive, service terrible. Person at counter too busy/annoyed/vaping to provide any form of service.

Average selection. Average prices. Below average customer services, below average friendliness. Prefer McNeilly Beer, but they have a below-average selection has half of their stuff isn't in stock.

There's no other place in the South Hills that has the selection Brews Brothers provides. If you enjoy craft beer, this is the place.

I have been around and drank beer in some cool places (Paris, NY, Prague, London, Frankfurt, Warsaw, Chicago, Miami, New Orleans, Portland, etc.) and Brews Brothers has the greatest selection of beer anywhere. Also, some cool 'top-chef' guy makes the most awesome hot dogs there! He makes a Thai dog that has fresh mango, fresh cilantro, and Thai peanut sauce. Yum!!! It was the most awesome hot dog I ever had in my life!!! You can buy potato chips, bloody Mary mix, frozen drinks to take home and freeze, nuts, etc. A really nice selection of growlers and drafts. You can fill growlers from other places too. The only thing weird about the place (why I can't give this place a 5) there is a guy who works there sporting a Fu Manchu goatee. And when he gets your credit card in his hand- he holds it. As if your card were going to be declined and he might have to cut it up in front of you. Just give it back after you swipe it Ming! (Please excuse my Flash Gordon reference.) Its the strangest thing. My favorite place in the South Hills though.

This place is definitely my favorite spot in the South Hills to grab a beer. They have one of the better craft beer selections in Pittsburgh, along with all the standard macrobrews. You can buy 6-packs, or mix-and-match their bottle selection to build your own six-pack, which is my personal preference. The employees and owner are very friendly and know their beer... if you're getting bored with your usuals, you can always get a good recommendation from them. It's also a decent place to grab a beer with friends if you don't want to hit the bars. Definitely not a bar atmosphere (which can be a plus, it's fairly quiet and devoid of drunk people), but they've got some tables inside and out, and they sell cigars, various snack foods and BBQ on summer weekends.

Both times I have been to the bar in the back it's been terrible service! They make you feel like an outsider if you aren't in the "in" crowd. Place smells like a moldy basement! Don't waste your time!
