Not what I expect. The table clothes and fancy place settings gave me the impression I was in for a treat and I was let down. The service was pretty horrible. And nothing on the buffet was above average, some items were horrible. The dining room is really nice. This place has potential just needs better management and better chefs.

I was truly blown away by the quality of food and the price of the Sunday brunch. This is a hidden gem, and you would be crazy not to check it out. It is great for big parties, too. Thank you, Altoona Grand Hotel, for your stellar Chef and staff!!!

We were looking for a centrally located place to have a leisurely Sunday brunch for our family. East Lycoming County met the southern Allegheny County relatives here. While I was not expecting a 5 star Mother's Day Brunch at an outrageously expensive restaurant, the buffet brunch had a delicious selection of food and ordering one additional delicious item off the menu helped make all family members happy. The staff was extremely helpful and attentive to our needs. Our expectations were more than met. Thank you for our lovely little gathering and brunch.

The Tropical Courtyard has an amazing atmosphere and the best Sunday brunch in the area.
