Drinks are solid but I just can't deal with all the smoke. That's just me and it's a personal preference. No slight to smokers. I smoked for a long time, but since quitting I just can't take being indoors with that much smoke at one time for very long.

The absolute BEST bar to eat at if you're coming to Altoona!! If you live in the Altoona area n haven't checked it our recently you are really missing out!! The have a new cook/chef n every single day there is something new and amazing!! I go every Friday and am happy every time! They have something fun happening almost every night from Music Trivia to Bingo to having small acoustic bands!!

Little tiny corner bar nestled in Juniata. Nice selection of usual drinks. The bar food is pretty good as well. The menu seems to change and have specials keeping it fresh and adventurous. Some of the regular menu items are staples. Yes you can smoke in there. I wouldnt take the kids out but decent get away from the uppety places peppered in town.

Sadly, this place has gone downhill over the past year. This was my favorite bar in Altoona for the longest time because everybody knew everybody and the drinks were reasonably priced. The prices haven't changed much, but the people sure have. I still like the owner and all, but she's having a hard time finding and keeping bartenders. Most of them are snooty and really not friendly at all. One of them will shut you off if they see you "stumble" to the bathroom and try to blame it on the owner, who wasn't even working at the time and had left 10 minutes beforehand (yes, personal experience). Anyway, the food is still good, but I waited over an hour for wings last night and the place wasn't even half full. I'll miss music trivia with Phil, but it's just not the same place anymore :(

Great service but it was better when Becky was behind the bar 6 nights a week!!!! Always had our beers on the bar before we sat down & was always willing to make us food when the kitchen closed.

This place has good food. Really good food, actually. And the staff are friendly too. Glad I found this place, which is nicer on the inside than you would think. Looks like the kind of place it would be fun to hang out in and get a little hammered too, listening to good music, playing some video machines, etc. I'm doing what I can to keep them going during this pandemic, because once it's over I want to go here and get a good drunk on while munching on delicious food!

Food is pretty good and drinks are very delicious! We come here at least once a week, but Jen is the reason we keep coming back! She provides excellent service, always has a smile on her face, and an awesome attitude!!
