It's the dive-est of dive bars. It's surprisingly large, but most folks just gather at the actual bar. There is some food available. It's a smoking bar. The beers are fairly cheap. You can purchase beers to go. The bartenders are all super nice. Definitely a spot for locals.

I remember stumbling upon this place one night after a Thursday night football game against the Ravens back in 2015. Me and a friend were out drinking and having fun and took a wrong turn and fate lead us here.I saw the name and was oh f**k we have to go in and check this place out. Mind it that it was like 1 am at the time and we were a little buzzed.Upon entering the place was packed and the bartender was super friendly and asked what we'd like to drink. My friend went to the bathroom and I ordered us two shots of Jamo and two Heinekens, broski! That is when an older gentleman(possibly the owner) came over probably due to some strangers stumbling into a local dive bar late at night that was filled with nothing but regulars. He asked where I was from and I told him and he shook my hand. He knew my hometown is rough and figured I probably was too. Nice guy!We chatted for a while and I bought him a drink and then he bought me one too. Then my friend came back and as we were all three talking that's when he said something about the champ. That is when I realized where I was and who he was talking about.I said, Where is he? He called his name, Hey Paul! There he came the one time best pound for pound boxer in the world, "The Pittsburgh Kid". We hugged and started chatting about boxing and life and I bought him a couple drinks and he bought me a couple. Then he took a couple pics with my friend.A lot of crazy and fun stuff happened after that but what a great night. What a great memory...Thanks Tramps!

If you would like to be ignored then this is the bar for you! The bartender was talking to someone at the bar for 20 mins while my table plus half of the bar had no drinks. We had to go up to the bar were we still waited 10 mins for a drink. After a while I ordered a burger (menu said that it came with tomato lettuce and coleslaw) none of which I got with my food. So basically I paid 8$ for a burger with cheese. Also if you want to go here to watch a game forget about it. We came down on the pens season opener game and out of the 8 Tvs the had 4 were playing the game and the rest were playing the movie Halloween. Old school country music was playing... no sound for the game. And they call themselves a sports bar. What a joke By the way the second bartender ignored us for 45 mins also

I had the opportunity to visit Tramps a few weekends ago after remebering my dad's rave reviews of the bar and their wings. Tramps is a diamond in the rough. I mean there's not much ambience and absolutely no view but it just works. Once inside, we were greeted by the bartender who was super nice. There were several patrons at the bar enjoying the game. It was a friendly crowd and I felt uber comfy here. The menu has a nice selection of offerings that I cannot speak on because I just haven't tried them...yet. After looking over the menu, we decided to go with the garlic butter and spicy bbq wings. They have a few TVs in the place which are all in areas that ensure you can see regardless of where you sit. After only minutes our wings arrived. They bring them in baskets with paper boats for the bones. I couldn't wait so I took my first bite (my tongue healed from the burn...LOL) and it was wing love at first bite. Omg! These are what you want every wing to be!!! Crispy, fresh and seasoned just right. The bbq was sweet and not overly spicy. I could taste some nice smoke from the sauce. Yum! The garlic butter was more mild but, once again, just right. I've been thinking about them since I left. Mmmm (Yes, I'm talking about wings!) Wow...why did it take me so long to come here??? Lastly, this place was very clean which isn't the case in a lot of divy type places around the Burgh. Needless to say, I can't wait to go back.

I suppose if you are a regular, it's okay. If not a regular, good luck with getting attention for drinks or something to eat. I ate at Tramps years ago when the Highmark Data Center was located on Greentree Road, and it was okay back then. Decided to go back and enjoy a cold one and a sandwich, but it apparently has gone downhill since the earlier days. The two female bartenders seemed to be preoccupied the entire time, and I finally ended up leaving out of impatience. Never again.

I came to Pittsburgh for a trade show. I stumbled upon tramps just across the river and stopped here four nights in in a row it was always a pleasure pretty much a dive bar but the bartenders were great. Each night they had a very cheap menu item such as Wings Burgers and Tacos. I will definitely come back if I'm in Pittsburgh again! Shout out to the two barmaids, Bria and Erica!

Great food and service. The atmosphere is good too if you want to escape the noise at other bars. It is highly recommended.

The female owner is HORRIBLE she can't pour a Drink to save her life and she treats customers with no respect. She needs to remember that we keep her lights on . And don't start me on the food!!¡!! And the bar needs to be cleaned.

i went for the super bowl and there was one bartender up front and the same bartender tending the kitchen. i told them before hand that about 10-15 people would be showing but maybe the bartender was still unaware. with multiple tvs, sound only played out of one for the halftime show which was the main event so pretty disappointed after being told the sound doesn't go up anymore. may return for a night cap, but not food or entertainment again

My husband and I, along many other long time regulars have been submitted to the nonsense by the young kids running this place. Used to be a good-old nice place to hang out. Now it is just swearing, arguments and fights, which seemingly originate from new employee's and their new friends. They don't even bother to tip the bartenders. Other bartenders we have known for years, have left.We witnessed two girls fighting, knocking over chairs and punching each other in the face, nothing was done and the guy bartender did nothing.I convinced my husband it was a rare occurrence. The next week saw a person bleeding after being beat up in the bathroom by someone twice his size and the guy bartender laughed.Tonight we regretfully went back, and we couldn't even get drinks.Food, Karaoke and a good time at our neighborhood spot.....we miss it.This place will be listed as a nuisance bar soon.My husband and I look forward to our neighborhood bar, we have been going to for over two decades, back from the hooligans currently running the place.
