Toss Pizza and Wings

We love Toss Pizza and Wings!! their pizza is always delicious and their wings are amazing!! We always get them extra crispy! They have great specials and a loyalty program too! Their employees are always friendly when we pick up and get delivery! We definitely recommend ordering from them!!

Today for dinner I decided to try Toss after shopping at the south hills village. I ordered online using Grub Hub (for pickup) via the Yelp app. It was very easy and I can check the status of my order within the Yelp app. The pizza was ready about 10-15 minutes earlier than the grubhub estimate. This was a smooth experience. The staff were very friendly, periodically letting me know my pizza was coming up. Inside there is very little room to wait and about just four two-person tables. It was cold outside (34 degrees) and each time someone opened the door a strong gush of cold air would come into the dining/waiting area. That eventually got uncomfortable. The pizza itself unfortunately I didn't care for. There wasn't enough sauce and the pizza crust was too doughy for my liking.

Jeff and the others at Toss are exceptional people who give back to the community. The pizza is always made fresh and the Monday - Tuesday pick up special is fantastic! No one wants to cook on a Monday!

The wings are great! Not a fan of their pizza. There have been numerous times when we've ordered ranch for the wings and we don't get it when we pick it up (even though we paid for it), or the ranch has gone bad, or we've gotten blue cheese instead. But if you're just picking up wings, you'll be fine.

A great option for local pizza! I especially love the sweet sauce for a unique option compared to other pizza shops. They offer delivery and carryout, and you can order online!

Horrible experience! First, I waited in line behind a very elderly gentleman who was trying to pickup a "sausage pizza". He seemed to be either slurring his words a bit or speaking broken English, I believe the latter. The lady, who I later learned was named Kathy, was so incredibly mean to this man. She tells him she does not have any sausage pizzas, in a very strong, angry tone. He points to a man who he spoke with, who then confirms with Kathy he ordered a "pepperoni sausage pizza". She comes back to the register and says "Oh NOW it's a pepperoni sausage pizza eh!?". If I had been that man, I would have left. I wish I had. He hands her his card and she points to the other side at the card reader and barks "over there". She couldn't have been more bothered by his business. I'm sorry if this was your dad/grandpa/husband. I should have spoke up because no one should be treated that way.We've eaten here many times before and the quality continues to go downhill. This time our pizza was barely edible (I say barely because the dog did eat it) as it was so burned. This isn't the first time, but I hate to write off a place we used to like. After learning that Kathy was a "manager", it wouldn't even be worth addressing the issue with her. Clearly there has been a change here, and if you're smart-you'll find somewhere else to go. If Kathy truly is running this shop, it will be out of business in no time!

First time we have visited there and it was a great experience! Picked up a supreme pizza, which was very good. Staff was friendly and helpful. Pizza was ready on time, still warm when we got home. Good job!

Love their food! Especially the cheesy bread and steak rolls! Awesome service as well!
