2/1/25Ate List:Chopped Italian Sandwich - 6.1Chips - 5.1Overall just okay. Glad I tried this spot but think I'd give the other vendors inside of Lawrence Hall a shot before trying this again.The sandwich had all the flavors close to great but the chop on it just felt unnecessary and messy. Bread was good though. Love an Italian sandwich, I was thinking about how good others typically are while I was eating this.The chips were the only side option and they were uninteresting. Plain, flavorless, just near burned crisps. A side of Fries would've been much preferred. Hell, I'd take a side of some sort of "zesty" pasta salad. A mostly miss for me here. Other people with me got the Chicken Caesar sandwich and the Chicken Parm sandwich and they seemed to really like theirs. Maybe try those?

I love Lawerence hall and was so excited to try some of the food at Toma. We started with the gnocchi appetizer, with plans to order more off of their menu, but we were pretty disappointed. Just salty and not as good as we had hoped.

I stopped by here earlier today with my wife for our dinner. Toma is located inside of Lawrence Food Hall and if you want more information about that you can check out my review for them. From Toma on this evening my wife ended up ordering the papperdale ala vodka with a meatball which she shared with me. The food came quickly and was actually the first item that arrived at our table from the 3 restaurants we ordered from. It ended up being pretty good with the papperdale being al dente although I could have used quite a bit more sauce. Perhaps I just got some not very well sauced pieces though as my wife said that she thought it was enjoyable. Then the meatball was tasty as it was cooked through and seasoned nicely.The bottom line for me is that I would stop by here again in the future. While it wouldn't be my top pick in Lawrence Food Hall, it can certainly scratch your Italian itch if you have one.

My favvvorite ceasar dressing. Sooo good. Love the arancini and can't wait to go back!

We ate there this evening and it was pretty bad. The garden salad with homemade Italian dressing was the highlight. The Caesar was bland and also barely dressed. My husband ordered the Chicago beef which was on a cold bun with a lot of fatty meat pieces. My pasta dish was served cold, barely sauced and what sauce I did have was flavorless. Will not be going back

The other reviews are spot on. The sandwiches deserve a 1star rating. The Arancini is decent (and that's why I'm not giving 1 star for the review), but that's about it. I'm happy to pay $16 for a meatball or chicken parm sandwich that's fantastic, but the quality of the sandwiches (meat, bread, etc.) at Toma is not up to par.

Just got the worst caesar salad of all time. Lettuce was old, brown, horrible. Chicken looked okay, but tasted off and was greasy. It made the whole salad greasy and it was overpriced on top of that. $16 gone to waste. I only tried the salad cannot speak for other items on the menu.

Went here. Its a food hall so I'm expecting less than quality food in general. But this was even below average for being that. Shout out to the marketing company on the pics and description for making it look like a high class restaurant. But, what they delivered was anything but. Just bad cafeteria food. And at $25 per meal, I got to think the people in the kitchen are laughing their butts off at people ordering this crap. I could see it being $5 max. Pizza was ok, hard to mess up that. But, took 2 bites of the sausage carrot pasta and the chicken masala and figure I would take them home to make them much better at my own stove with little work. My 5 year old nephew can literally make better food than Toma. Highly suggest you don't waste money on this sad place.

I ate here about a week ago. I got the cacio e pepe and it was DELICIOUS!! I also got a salad which was dressed nicely. If I had one fault is that I would have liked more cheese, but that's just me. I WILL be eating here again SOON.
