Tin Man Sweets

Nice little shop in the Harmony/Zelienople area and surprised this was my first time stopping here. They have a relatively small selection overall including just a couple types of gelato in stock.Their cupcakes are relatively small compared to what you'd get at other bakeries in the region, especially for the price. I tried two different varieties and found them a bit lacking in flavor and the type of icing they use isn't my favorite.

some of the very best cupcakes in the greater pittsburgh area...im not sure ive even had anything but cupcakes from themwhat i like about them is yes, theyre sweet, duh, but not overly or cloyingly so...additionally, they are a little smaller than many other places, but i like that too...because u can eat 1 and not feel like u need to instantly seek out exercise...in my estimation, they are a perfectly sweet solution to one's cravings!chocolate lover's cupcake (my name for it) (pictured- upper right) was very good, but i was digging the oreo cookie one (lower left)....it had oreo cookie pieces in the cupcake itself and an oreo cookie half as its base...delish!i havnt actually been to where they relocated to just north of zelienople proper, but i think next time i will try something other than their cupcakes...mayb

Impromptu stop and I'm so glad I did. Ended up with a white mocha which was recommended by another customer and it was absolutely delicious! Left with a pepperoni roll and couldn't help myself and ate it on the way home. Meant to save a piece for my boyfriend but couldn't resist. By far one of the best cinnamon rolls I've had. The lady working the counter suggested microwaving and adding butter on top,and oh was she right! I also got a few macaroons for my daughter and a stunning cake for some guest coming in for the weekend. Overall they did not disappoint. Will definitely be returning! And must I say the lady who waited on me was so sweet and even helped me out to my car.

Phenomenal bakery! I had a custom Golden Girls cake made for my boyfriend and it was fantastic. It met every expectation I had and then some. He loved it and it was fantastic in every way!!!! All the guests said it was a fantastic cake! Thank you so much for helping me bring him a wonderful birthday.

If you haven't been here to this little bakery, you must go! The cupcakes are unique and delicious! The cannolis are outstanding and me being from the Philly area where cannolis rule, abd I'm a cannoli snob, I give 2 thumbs up for these! The pastries are better than most bakeries, you can taste the quality in every item and I tried several! But oh that wedding cupcake! Sinful!

Overall, a good experience. My wife and I ordered a cake, muffins, and cookies for Easter.I will say it's very pricey and there is a limited selection compared to the now retired Carol's bakery that used to be on Zelie's Main Street. So if price and variety are not hindrances, then definitely try this place out. We try to support local artisans and small businesses so we try to not let price deter us, within reason, especially when it comes to discretionary purchases like "treats."The baked goods we purchased were good quality, and we'd order them all again.I will say their chocolate cake was very dense, but that is a matter of preference. We still enjoyed it.I gave 3 stars because of price and selection. The taste and quality will bring me back.

My wife and I stopped in because we have had Tin Man Sweets baked goods and desserts before and wanted to check out their new storefront now featuring made from scratch baked goods, coffees, and gelato! We were not disappointed! They had a number of different pastries, cupcakes, muffins, rolls, cakes, and chocolate covered desserts to choose from! I got a cinnamon roll and my wife got a cherry cream cheese danish. They were so fresh and tasted out of this world! My wife got an espresso drink and I got a black coffee. I was really impressed that Tin Man Sweets buys coffee from local Pittsburgh roasters, Defer Coffee and Tea and La Prima both in the Strip District, and grinds/brews it fresh! Tin Man Sweets has a number of espresso based, frappes, and smoothie drinks available. They also have gelato from Mercurios in Pittsburgh which is out of this world! They let us sample a number of them. The peanut butter chocolate is my favorite!The owner and the manager who served us that day were so nice and kind. It was nice to visit, talk with, and support a local business after all the COVID-19 stay at home orders had been lifted! The shop was clean and nicely decorated with a rustic and country chique feel with a little modern thrown in there. The atmosphere is warm and friendly. There is a short bar area for a few people to sit down, stare out the window, and enjoy their coffee and baked good while reading a good book or browsing Facebook on their mobile device.I love that Tin Man Sweets has a cafe bake shop now in addition to their custom bakery service. They do custom cakes cupcakes, cookies, desserts for weddings, birthdays, holidays, office parties, gifts, you name it! I've had a number of their cakes (in fact, they did our wedding cake) and they are outstanding. Their buttercream icing **mwuah!**If you want great coffee drinks, yummy baked goods, gelato, and positive vibes, this is the place for you!

Beautiful Beautiful wedding cakes. And, they taste amazing!Great to stop in and get treats and coffee! Chocolates are also very good. Cupcakes are so good!

Maria did an amazing job exactly matching a cake I requested. The flavors were sooo good and the work was impeccable. I will use them for every event I have moving forward.

This is hands down the best bakery in the Pittsburgh area. Definitely beats out all the big names in the city. Hidden gem and worth traveling for!
