Tim's Corner Market

I had heard about this place recently, and I was in the area today, so I stopped to check it out. This little market sells a small variety of food items, snacks, drinks, lottery, deli meats and cheeses, etc., but what it is known for, are their hoagies. They bake their own hoagie rolls in-house, and have a variety of named subs on their menu, plus a build-your-own option. These subs are sold for take-out and are served cold (not baked). I tried the namesake, "Tim's Italian," and it was very tasty, and hit the spot. The employee making the sandwich was very kind and courteous, and even offered to put the oil and vinegar on the side, since I told him I wasn't eating it right away. I look forward to coming back again sometime to try one of the other types of hoagies . . . Cheers! P.S. Located right next to Slice on Broadway, along the T-tracks. Thought I'd give Tim's a try on a busy work from home day, and placed a delivery order for lunch through a third party delivery service. Delivery was very quick (under a half hour). Built my own half sandwich and also ordered a half Upper Beechview Broil (which I forgot to photograph) for my husband. Both sandwiches were really good, super fresh, and really packed with ingredients on pretty good bread. (I was expecting Slice bread--idk why, I guess because they're next door--but it was different. Fluffy instead of chewy. Good, just different from what I was expecting.) This was a solid grinder, I appreciated the option to craft my own, was a good value, and I will definitely order again. Nice to have a good deli option nearby.

Big awesome sandwiches served up by the nicest folks. Had an Italian and turkey bacon ranch. Can't wait to go again and try more.

The quality of ingredients is very high, the food is delicious and the people who run the place are very kind. I would recommend this place to anybody who enjoys hoagies, especially because I have struggled to find good hoagies in the Pittsburgh area.

Heard lots of positive reviews about the subs at Tim's Corner Market. We were having family over and decided to try their subs. They did not disappoint. Delicious rolls loaded with meat, cheese and toppings. Got 2 of the Pittsburgh Picnic Specials which included 2-12" hoagies, large bag of chips and a gallon of Turners tea. Great deal. Will order again.

Great subs? Loaded with stuff! Meat, cheese and toppings. Good combos on the menu. Very fresh and tasty. We got 3 of the baked subs from the menu. All were delcious. Easy off street parking. Fast and kind employees.

Top notch subs! Awesome homemade rolls that stand up well to everything they pack into it. Full of excellent Boars Head deli and fresh, quality toppings. We tried three different subs and all were hefty and excellent! The Upper Beechview Broil - banging beef sub, tender and delicious. The Italian Turkey - cool and tasty everything, balanced well with that HOT cherry pepper relish - YUM! And lastly the BLT, packed with fresh bacon and a pleasure to devour. Highly recommend this new place. We will definitely be back!
