The Wine Cave

Eclectic v. just weird decor. The outside has a gravel parking lot. Outside seating options: fire pit, garden shed, grotto, & stone archway. Inside "stone" walls with plastic sheets ceiling.We heard dogs barking/running around above us perhaps a groomer (?).The wine drinkers liked the variety of options. The lunch portions were substantial. The gnocchi was much more fluffy than dense. I took half home leaving me comfortable. The fries with the chicken wrap were very good. The individual pizza was just enough for a lunch portion. The dining experience just wasn't for me BUT I will consider getting the gnocchi as a to go order in the future.

What a fun experience in the winter time! I definitely recommend the igloo seating - it was a cozy spot for a good dinner and good wine! My chicken caesar wrap was standard bar food, and it hit the spot. I got a wine flight of all dry reds. You can request your own flight! I asked the waitress to give me a flight of the driest reds, and they were excellent! I appreciate she gave me two not on the menu. The food is good bar food, and the service is good. You will enjoy a night here, especially with some friends!

Prefacing this with the fact that I've only ever sat outside and drank here (I've never sat inside or had their food). I love this spot!! Bella Terra has a great wine selection so that is always enjoyable. They now carry other local drinks like the Stateside and Surfside seltzers - so good! I love the vibes of the outdoor seating, twinkly lights, fire pit, etc. It's really relaxing and chill! The service has always been amazing and really friendly. I definitely recommend this spot. I wish I would have taken pics!

What a perfect spot to spend some time with a friend. Two of us met for drinks and dinner. We ended up sharing the hummus plate and the charcuterie board. Both were wonderful. We were happy to learn the wine flights are buy one get one half off on Thursdays. So, of course, we went with them. There are sets of 4 wines offered to choose from or you can select your own.Melissa was a delight have as our server. She was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. She made great suggestions as well as proving us with attentive service all evening.There is one thing that could make the appetizers even better: they need to be served with some kind of utensils so that guests can easily serve themselves. We had to find creative ways to serve the jam, mustard, olives and feta, and use our fingers for the rest of the other food items. Since we ate from our forks, we only had our knives to work with. We would have preferred to have some small spoons served with the sauces in appetizers, and some picks in the cheese and meets to keep from using our fingers. We decided to buy growlers to take some of the amazing Violet cider home. Now that we each have a growler, we'll definitely return soon to get refills. Cheers!

My girlfriend and I aren't big wine people but we wanted to try something new and the wine cave was a great little date night spot! The vibes are very romantic and gets you in the mood for having a glass of wine. The place is very small so I wouldn't recommend going there with a huge group of people. The waitresses/bartenders/staff just walk around and wait on the tables and they keep the bill at the bar, so it's not your traditional restaurant type setting. Very unique. Everyone we dealt with was super friendly and helpful. Aside from the wine flights, which were very good. We ordered the charcuterie board as an app and it was very disappointing, in terms of quantity and in taste, just wasn't good. I ordered the Cajun chicken pasta and it was also okay, the serving size was good but it didn't have enough sauce and tasted very bland. Overall I think we will be back maybe to just grab drinks and to enjoy the atmosphere.

Very cute and unique spot! If you don't have a reservation (they don't take reservations for 2) it is a seat yourself type deal. We went around 5:30 on a Saturday and had no problem finding a seat! I ordered the sweet wine flight and if you're not super big on wine this was perfect!! It honestly tasted like juice it was so good I could've downed a whole bottle of each. My boyfriend got the red wine flight and it wasn't his favorite, he also preferred the sweet. We started with a charcuterie board and it was $22 for such a small plate so that's where I removed a star because it was WAY overpriced. Simple ingredients and not nearly enough of it. I ordered the Turkey Melt and it was actually really good!! I'm a big turkey sandwich connoisseur and even though it was really simple I thought it was delicious and the chips paired with it were great. The service was okay, our waitress was really sweet, but very busy with other tables. We did have help from other staff though which was great.

4.5 stars rounded up to 5 stars. Hartwood Wine Cave serves not only wines but also other alcoholic beverages and full-course meals (see my attached photos for the menus). Reservations are available for small parties and large groups. Entertainment includes live music on Fridays and Saturdays. I felt most interested in the "igloo" bubble domes, so I reserved one online for a 2-hour visit for $40. This booking fee was non-refundable, but if I wanted to do so, I could reschedule my reservation with at least 3 days of notice. After my husband and I entered the restaurant, an employee at the front desk took our order for food and drinks. Then he walked us over to our igloo outside. The wintry weather outside was below freezing, but the interior of the igloo was warm because of a stove. The stove, though, did cause condensation to form on the walls of the igloo and to occasionally drip down. The igloo also had eight chairs, a couple of small tables, and some blankets. While my husband and I waited on our food to be cooked, we roasted marshmallows over a fire pit outside. Many minutes later, another customer approached our igloo to ask if we had ordered food. The employee had incorrectly delivered our food to the other customer! The other customer kindly brought the food to us. The food was inside plastic containers and paper bags. Plastic utensils and paper plates were included.Here are my reviews for our foods:S'mores - $10 - 5 stars - A s'mores kit contained the perfect amount of ingredients for my husband and I to each make two tasty s'mores. The kit included graham crackers, a Hershey's chocolate bar, and four large marshmallows. The fire pit worked well to roast our marshmallows. Spinach and artichoke dip - $13 - 5 stars - This dip looked and tasted differently than other restaurants' dips, but my husband and I really enjoyed the flavor from the cheddar cheese and garlic. The dip was served with many pieces of flat bread, which had a perfectly crispy exterior and chewy interior. My husband described this appetizer as "probably the best ever"!Shrimp diavola - $20 - 4.5 stars - This entree consisted of penne noodles, juicy shrimps, spinach, and a spicy tomato sauce. I enjoyed all of the flavors.Ricotta and meatballs pizza - $18 - 3 stars - My husband commented that this pizza had toppings that were too chunky and insufficiently spread out. I thought that the ingredients tasted very fresh. Trico di crema - $8 - 4.5 stars - This slice of sponge cake was moist from milk, had a sweet icing, and had fresh berries on top.Wines - $8 per glass - Winterbella and Diamond Reo - 4 stars - My husband and I are not wine connoisseurs. We selected two wines that we expected to taste grapey and sweet, and these wines tasted good.Cider - $5 - 4 stars - We ordered the Violet Cider that was supposed to taste like sweet blackberries, and we thought that it tasted good.

This was our first visit. Walked in and they greet you. You're immediately in the cave. Walked through to view the seating arrangements. They have outdoor seating near and away from the place. They had cider and beer and snacks.Loved this place. Cute setup, the ladies greeted us and were friendly and helpful during the process. All of the wine is from Bella Terra Vineyards and Wi wry. We live closer to them and always enjoy their wine. I recommend it and all the guest WiFi password is "guestwifi" you will need it because no service here if you have Verizon.

We love the wine cave!! Good food, great wine, and live music close to home. This is a great spot to meet a friend and share a bottle. The service is quick and kind. The space is really pretty (especially outdoors at night!).We always have the best time here. They recently added wine flights to their menu which is great for when you want to try a little bit of everything, like me!
