The Spring House

Food was very good. It's very expensive for this style of restaurant. They put your food on cheap plastic plates and give you plastic silverware. We took our elderly aunt there for lunch. No one bothered to ask us or her if she needed help. So my husband and I had to get all our food and help her sit down. We wanted to go boxes because we couldn't eat all the food. I had to ask 3 different people for 2 of them. We will never recommend this place. We will never come back. THIS PLACE IS ABSOLUTELY NOT WORTH IT!!!!

Incredible in every way. Staff so nice and accommodating. Food was delicious, baked goods out of this world!!

I will always have a fond memory of getting chocolate milkshakes and a christmas tree here each December. the staff and service is always great here as well! Most of the food is good too.

Food was like eating at home, but the desserts were unbelievably delicious. The coffee milk is something I will crave forever and my kids chugged the chocolate milk so fast I couldn't remember if we even got it. Chocolate chip cookies sealed the deal!

This is my kids favorite place for chocolate milk and baked goods. We have been coming here for years and the cozy country store atmosphere has remained the same. The boys love the ice cream cones in the summer! If the cows are out we will head over and walk along the fence.

Extremely overpriced. Food not that great. Will never go back. Left a $15 tip on a $87 bill and threw my own trash away they never even came over to wipe the table when we left.

We love going to the Spring House for their fall activities. They have a hayride and two great play areas for the kids. The one you can see from the road has slides that will provide plenty of entertainment for the kids. The other activity area is up in the hill at the end of the hayride where you can pick your own pumpkin. Do forget to stop in the market for a sweet treat or lunch. They have lots of bakery items and ice cream plus a hot buffet. We have gotten the pulled pork sandwiches which are huge and very tasty. On the weekends they usually have someone outside on the small porch playing music. He is great!

I'm not sure why this place bills itself as a buffet; it is not. It's a cafeteria-style restaurant. I found the food to be borderline inedible--especially the stuffed cabbage, which had a sauce that tasted like a blend of plain tomato sauce and vinegar. The onions in the hash brown casserole were undercooked, as was some of the broccoli in that casserole. We bought some gobs to take home, which we came to regret. The filling was over-sugared and dense. We did enjoy the cinnamon roll, though.The other members of my party ate their meals just fine, but I don't have a sense of whether they found the food to be good or just mediocre. I would not recommend this restaurant.

The Spring House offers a very welcoming atmosphere. The employees are quite friendly and attentive. The food is comforting and delish. The food is a bit pricey but you get your money's worth. My family raves about their cherry pie.
