Casual spot to grab something to eat. Service is friendly here. Typical diner style fare with sandwiches and breakfast. Ordered the Steel City Slammer. The combination of roast beef and corned beef with the coleslaw was great and refreshing. I will definitely come back here.

Takeout this past Saturday. Tailgating for Pitt across the street. This place was quite busy, but they were able to get a couple egg sandwiches whipped up in no time. Reasonable pricing with the best sausage patty ever. Great breakfast spot. Recommend.

We tailgate across the way from the sandwich shoppe and decided let's see if we can get food here for our tailgate.I called and they're closed on Monday but they let me order a sandwich ring for 14-16 person serving, came with a side and we got tater tots and it came with plates, silverware and Heinz ketchup bottle. That was super nice of them to throw a whole bottle in. It cost $88 but well worth the cost.The food was amazing. Best sandwich ring I've ever had. The tots were warm and fresh and tasted so damn good. This place is our place to obtain food for our tailgate needs moving forward.

Yum, I enjoyed this sandwich place for lunch. I had a patty melt. It was really tasty and cooked perfectly. I liked the homemade chips as well. They also serve breakfast all day. I'd recommend a stop by!

Honestly such a clutch and great sandwich and breakfast spot. The food is super fulfilling and delicious. I wish they were on Uber eats and their online menu offered the ability to do add ons. Really sucks how you can go in person to get whatever you want, but on DoorDash the menu switches from breakfast to lunch really early in the morning and there's nothing you can do about it.

New name and owner in the Ole Allegheny sandwich shop. Not much has changed but the name and a few items on the menu. Waitress was very friendly. Some real good sandwiches and daily specials. Had the meatloaf special. Very good. Great place from breakfast or lunch.

This is our Go-To favorite before Steelers games. Cute little restaurant, very neat and clean, wonderful staff and great breakfast! We drive in from Michigan and head your way.

Some of the best sandwiches in town! Good variety. They roast their own meats. Friendly little joint. Packed around noon. Go early or later for lunch. Next time, I want to try the all-day breakfast!

We go to this restaurant on a regular basis for breakfast. Every time I find the staff to be friendly and quick and the food is great. Their link sausage is the best that I have anywhere in the Pittsburgh area. I highly recommend The Sandwich Shoppe!
