The Rose Bar & Grille

I have heard mixed reviews, my friend said the place can be iffy, me and him both agree the cheese sauce for the pretzels is questionable and can give major case of the runs, and send u flying on the Hershey highway... so anyways my review is gonna focus on the fish sandwich... it would have been good if it wasn't undercooked...puked up like 20 minutes after eating it won't be back

Checked out the rose bar this week for their slap stick comedy show, had dinner and drinks, and overall a good time. The shrimp tacos were really delicious!

I attended a comedy show which was also a fund raiser for a nonprofit organization. We had called 2 weeks prior to the date to make reservations for 6, but when we arrived the had not recorded our reservations, so we were sat in a corner table where we were unable to see the comedian. There was a very large crowd, service was poor but that often happens with large crowds. We ended up with 10 people at our table, seating was definitely cramped. The worst part of the evening was the pizza, I ordered white pizza with extra garlic sauce. They did not have garlic sauce? No garlic sauce? The cheese was very tasteless fortunately there was salt & pepper on the table to give our meal some flavor. We also ordered potato soup, the potato soup was very good. I will n be going there again.

I've recently been coming here for karaoke. This place is fun and welcoming and the food is great too. It's a good place to go for a drink and share apps with friends. Nice open area with a pool table and bar too. I will be frequenting this establishment as they seem to have a decent amount of entertainment as well.Just a note you must try the stuffed provolone zucchini rolls. They are phenomenal!

Good beer prices, good beer selection, the food is unremarkable bar food. Seems to have a pretty active local crowd of regulars and a friendly sort of place. Definitely a neighborhood bar feel.Overall a good place to get a drink. I was not too impressed with their wings, or any of the food I saw served.

Stuffed provolone zucchini is the best appetizer. Codfather fish sandwich is very good. I'd never order the large one again. Way too much fish for one person. Very good flavor fish sandwich.

Waited 2 hours for take out. Okay got it comped when I complained got home food was stone coldl. Never again. Thought I posted this 3 years ago when I wrote it. I was true to my word till the quest for a good fish sandwich lead me to try the "award winning " Codfather. Do I called to order take out. I have no complaints the service was prompt and friendly. But when I got home and saw the two large nondescript pieces of fish floating in a sea of grease I have to ask were the judges blind. The fish was so greasy it was unable to eat so live and learn never again.

We used The Rose for my daughter's bridal shower, when I walked into the banquet room I was in awe. The setting was beautiful with such atmosphere. The food was delicious the staff was great, Crystal worked very hard and did a very good job being that she was the only server that day. I have not one complaint about anything! I would definitely use The Rose again. Thank you Jennifer!

The food was good, not great. I had Potato Soup that was way too thick. Probably from sitting too long under heat. Ambience was Bar-like. They had good prices

The ribs were excellent and full off the bone, chicken Romano is also an excellent choice as the chicken melted in your mouth. Definitely worth the trip.
