The Porch at Siena

Had a great experience at the Porch recently. It was my first time and will definitely be going back. Loved the setup of the place, perfect for a brunch or lunch. It would be a great spot to eat outdoors during the warmer months.My table had the cheesy bread appetizer, which was really good. For my meal I had the porch truffle burger, which came topped with carmelized onions, a bacon marmalade, and truffle aioli. I did not expect this burger to be as good as it was. It was phenomenal, one of the better burgers I've had in Pittsburgh. The meat was super flavorful and cooked to a perfect medium rare. The toppings were a perfect balance and everything was held together on a good brioche bun. They also had really good fries and house made ranch.The only con to the place is having to get order your own food and drinks at the front. Kind of takes away from the eating experience. But everything is so good that it's not enough to take it down a star.

Such a cute place to eat. The decor is adorable. They have glass with pressed flowers above the benches that I absolutely adored. I ordered the Grilled Cheese with the Fresh Tomato Basil Soup. I like that there is an option to make everything Gluten Free which is nice for me and my boyfriend who can't eat Gluten. He got the Porch Burger with no bun and it was pretty good. It was a big burger and very flavorful. The waitress was super nice and friendly and was very attentive. The food did take a little while to get to us but they were pretty busy. There were a lot of different drink options I wanted to try but wasn't in the mood for alcohol today so I do look forward to trying this another day.

First time at The Porch and I came right at the lunch rush on a Sunday, but the crowd didn't phase the staff at all. I was seated within five minutes and still was given the option of indoor/outdoor and high-top/regular.My phone rang almost as soon as I was seated so I was obnoxiously on my phone, but my server, Julie, expertly dropped off water and came back when she saw me off the phone. Beyond that, I asked if they had flavored lemonade... they do not have flavored lemonade. But because I asked, Julie found a way to make it happen. I ended up with a peach lemonade that I would highly recommend (if they did in fact have flavored lemonade).I ordered the Bianca pizza which has figs, arugula, truffle oil, and goat cheese. I appreciate that they plate the pizza with Parmesan and crushed red peppers on the side so you don't even have to ask. I finished mine off with a little salt to heighten the flavors a bit, but that to me is more personal taste preference because the flavors were there and they were fresh and delicious. It's a good sized pizza. I only finished half so this would be great to share.And the mind blowing part to me was that I walked away with an under $20 bill! Chicagolandian here, so maybe it's just an area thing, but this exact same meal around Chicago would've been at least $35 before the tip.

Stopped in for a casual dinner on a Wednesday evening and had such a tasty meal! Started with a pizza that had a delicious crust and had the BBQ pork chop for dinner which was incredible - I loved the sauce. I'll be thinking about this bite for a bit! Emily, our server, was kind and attentive. The manager sat us and you could tell how hard he worked and cared!

I was here today for a baby shower. The food was very good and the service was pretty good for a private event. We had the option between three items for our main, and I went with the turkey BLT. I thoroughly enjoyed it, and we were given large portions. I had a chance to go into the main par of the restaurant itself and took a peak at others' food as well (including pizzas) which also looked delicious. Overall a great place and I would recommend!

This place will always hold a special spot in my heart. I've gone here about 4+ times and they never disappoint. The service is good just like the food. It is such an open spacious dining area with big windows and outdoor patio. I suggest happy hour for $5 sangrias and $2 off pizzas. We ordered four different dishes to share and they were all amazing! I would recommend either locations (Siena and Schenley).

My first dining experience at The Porch was just ok. Our server was very nice but our food took awhile to come outI ordered the peach and prosciutto pizza which was ok. My husband ordered the miso sea bass which he enjoyedWe got the peach berry cobbler for dessert. That was excellent!We sat inside but there were tables outside as well.We were there on a weeknight for an early dinner. By the time we left at 7:00 it was getting more crowded

Such a perfect place for a quick dinner with friends. Stopped here for dinner after shopping. We were looking for something light and fresh and this spot hit the nail on the head. We were seated at a spacious booth by a window. The wait staff was incredible at explaining menu items and helping to gauge what would be appropriate size-wise for us to order. We shared the Bianca pizza and chopped salad. We also each had Elderflower Smash cocktails. I will absolutely return for these items again and to try other menu items.

I love the Porch - I go at least quarterly and consistently have positive experiences here, whether it has been for brunch or dinner. The bianca pizza is one of my favorite meals of all time. Also love their potatoes with chipotle ketchup...and I hate ketchup!The service has always been pleasant, friendly, attentive without being overbearing.It gets busy but it's a fairly open and spacious layout so I have not once felt claustrophobic or overstimulated. I love sitting by the fireplace in the extended seating area, but it's all very clean, bright, and open, with ample parking.

Terrible service. Food ok but overpriced. This can use a complete redo. USC needs a good casual restaurant other than OTB.Great location.
