Was in the area and my girlfriend and I were dying for a bite to eat so we decided on the Bottleshop. Overall a nice sports bar with many TVs for viewing and a big bar. Our waiter was very friendly and took great care of us. The food also came out very quick so it felt like we were only there for 30mins. We started with the nachos which were good, I'd like a little less sour cream but overall not bad. For my entree I got traditional parm garlic wings with a side of fries. The wings were very crunchy and had good flavor. Fries were fantastic! Only gripe was the price for the wings, pretty small wings to justify the cost. Overall a good visit and would come back.

The space is bigger than expected from the outside. There's plenty of seating at the bar and tables. Lots of big screen TVs to watch all of your favorite sports teams. The food was good. The draft beer could be a little colder. As far as the service, I was confused because there were no workers dedicated to waiting on the tables. There were 5 or 6 workers and everyone was working on people sitting at the bar. Our server had tables on both sides of the restaurant and was working on bar patrons while some of the others stood around and talked. I felt bad for her. At the time, the restaurant was not even full so there was no reason why service couldn't be better if the other girls actually worked a little. Our friends went to the bar because our server was so busy and the other girls working paid no attention while they continued holding a conversation with one another. Hopefully service improves because the food and drinks are not bad and it's a fun place to watch sports events.

I think there are new owners since the last time I was here, but the inside set-up is pretty much the same, minus they no longer have the brewery setup. The menu included a variety of sandwiches, pastas, and burgers. I had the Portabella Caprese sandwich, which was good but nothing special. They also have a decent happy hour from 5-7 that includes both apps and drinks on special.

I was kind of confused if this place really existed. Unsure still -- is it called "28 Bridges Brewery" or is it called "The Pittsburgh Bottleshop Cafe"? Is it the same thing? The website is broken and the Facebook pages aren't updated.Nonetheless, I went here for a meal and a beer the other day. Unfortunately, there was only one employee there serving as bartender and server for the entire bar, restaurant, and patio! She was overwhelmed. The beer selection was pretty decent and the food menu was good. I opted for a smash burger wrap, which hit the spot! I didn't want a giant burger, and so this gave me all the fixins without the big hunk of bread. I might try it again but not on my tops, now that I've visited once.

The fact that this places calls itself a brewery is hilarious! The wait staff is horrible. The bartender was more more worried about shaking her ass to the two thirsty guys at the bar than waiting on us.The beer selection was garbage!I bought a glass to remember to never go back and from what my friends in the area say, they haven't either.

Well it was my first time there and was excited to see it was nice and also large inside. Our bartender was super lovely and very attentive. I ordered a glass of wine and the pour was small, I was shocked. The bartender explained that was what they are allowed to pour. I was in shock, as it was our first time there they did not fill our glasses a little more. Also, many bars and restaurants in the area give much larger pours. I then ordered a chopped Italian salad. It was $14 and literally had lunch meat cut up (not even chopped up) with 3 onion slices and some cheese. I thought there were artichokes in it, as well but they were old ends of the lettuce. Nothing good was on the ton of TV's they have on there. What a waste of money. We will go elsewhere where they value our money and better ambiance.

Never thought of coming to a bar for breakfast- but oh my God it was excellent. I had the meat omelette, and my wife had the breakfast blt. Both were great but the star of the show was the cinnamon roll. One of the best I've ever had- they are made in house (as with all of their desserts). Stevie G took great care of us!

I've been hard on this place; however, my last visit felt like they finally figured things out in the kitchen. Perhaps new mngmt? Regardless, the nachos were fabulous!
