I purchased 6 pies for Thanksgiving this year. The online ordering process was perfect, simple and effective. Pickup was also amazingly smooth. Everyone was in a great mood and I was in and out (with a lobby full of other customers) in 5 minutes! The pies were absolutely delicious! We had multiple pumpkin, cherry crumble, apple, pecan and key lime. I can personally attest to the pumpkin, cherry and key lime! The cherry was the biggest hit and people were negotiating bites by the end of it! I will definitely be a regular customer going forward.

The Pie Place makes not only pies but also cakes, cookies, pepperoni rolls, and other baked goods from locally produced ingredients. Their pies are available in flavors such as blackberry, blueberry, peach, pineapple, pumpkin, and rhubarb. Their cakes are available in flavors such as chocolate, yellow, white, and red velvet with different flavors of fillings and icings. I first encountered The Pie Place not at their brick-and-mortar store but rather through a farmers' market. I saw small pies in a variety of flavors, and I chose two of the flavors. Each small pie cost several dollars. I ate the pies at home. The apple pie had a crispy crust, fresh apples, and the right amount of cinnamon and nutmeg, and I rate it as 4.5 stars. The cherry pie also had a crispy crust and was filled with sweet and tart cherries, and I rate it as 5 stars.

Hello fellow Yelpers!The pie place is a very clean shop with nice staff offering all sorts of baked goods! There's a large selection of pies, tarts, bars, and cookies. It's a nice shop with numerous options for pie lovers out there.The nice thing for us was that the pies offered came in numerous sizes! You could get slices, whole, and even mini (as seen in our picture).The pies are standard in taste they aren't the best pies we've ever had nor bad they are just good and what you'd expect. They were baked and displayed for a while so they weren't piping hot or anything when we bought them either (plus it would melt the whipped cream so the minis are cold on purpose), but they are good and we would recommend giving a try if you have a pie lover out there.The only big con here is that the pies are a little pricier at around $16 and up, though I forget the mini pie prices (maybe around $6 each?) so it's not the most affordable, they do need to pay rent for the space though.Overall a good standard pie experience with good options. I have always seen the sign for this place but have never stopped in so when I went to pick up my pie kit for an event I was pleasantly surprised to see how big it actually was inside and the variety of items (besides pie) that you could get here! Of course I had to pick up a couple of extra goodies that caught my eye while I was there. I loved that they had mini tarts versions of their pies so you could do your own taste test before you committed to a whole pie. Happy that they also serve up coffee drinks which is perfect since they go hand and hand with pastries. I will definitely be back! The pie place makes these great kits that give you everything pre-prepped and ready to put together and bake your own pies. Update on the apple pie kit I made for the Yelp event - I brought it to work and they guys crushed it in 20 minutes - it was delicious! I will definitely pick that up again it was awesome!

This was my second experience with the Pie Place. Both times I pre ordered and came to pick it up in the store. The store is very clean and they have marks on the ground to social distance. This time we ordered their Pi day apple pie. It is so pretty and smells amazing. Since we stopped in the weekend of Pi day we also received a free tart. My daughter wanted the St Patricks day cookies they had and she said it was good (a 4 yo is not hard to please but I believe her)!They offer pie kits that you can assemble yourself at home and they offer classes. I did a virtual class where we made an apple pie last time. I would love to sign up my daughter for one of the kids classes in the future. The Pie Place feels like it is in another state from where we are in Regent Square but we are willing to make the trek because it is so good. We will be back!

If you're ordering something for pickup, be sure to speak VERY SLOWLY AND CLEARLY, because they're really not paying attention to what you're saying. I stopped in on a Tuesday, ordered a pie for Thursday and when I got there on Thursday, I found out they took "Thursday" to mean "Saturday." So they gave me a frozen pie and wished me luck. Didn't occur to them to knock anything off the price, seeing as how they were giving me an unfinished product for a finished-product price. Get it in writing before you leave.

we ordered two pies for Christmas , picked them up and not even 24 hours later one pie had MOLD ALL OVER IT, I contacted them and they said they have to be refrigerated however we were NOT told that or was there any label of ingredients or any label stating needs to be refrigerated, I have never ever put a pie other than a cream pie in a refrigerator and I have never in my 64 years of living had a pie MOLD .. thry told me to come back and get another pie , i told them it was far and I was not going to drive all that way for another pie ( holiday gathering was over and I didn't need one at this point plus that drive was too far for a pie ) I contacted them again and they have gone radio silent and not responded ! horrible customer service, any store , restaurant etc if this happened would refund me immediately.. pie purchasers beware thst you need to refrigerate their sugar free pies .. I'm a diabetic and have never had a fruit pie mold ( real fruit ) before !
