The Original BSB’s - Avalon

This is THE spot!!!! We go here at least once a month, and especially when we have family in town or are throwing a party. There are a zillion flavors, and I haven't had one I don't like. There is something for everyone here. The wings are huge!! Both the boneless and bone-in. Don't go anywhere else for wings, because there is nowhere better! My family from out of town tells me all the time they wish this was by them!

This place is my FAVORITE place for wings. They have sooo many flavors which may seem a little overwhelming but my goal is to try as many as my palette allows!! So this most recent time I ordered Ace Boogie & Lil Broski. Always get them well done! Ace Boogie is definitely a savory flavor, salty, dry ranch, lots of flavor and the butter adds a little bit of moisture. I ALWAYS get these. Then I tried Lil Broski for the first time & these exceeded my expectations. Now they are sweet, but it was the perfect balance with the other wings. So they taste like honey & brown sugar, so if you don't like sweet probably not for you, but these will be another of my go-tos I cannot stop thinking about them. My boyfriend always gets the signature hot, he even buys the sauce for other dishes I cook.

Yum! Can you ever go wrong with a basket full of BSB wings?? With so many flavor options, you'll never get bored going back time and time again. This time we went for eye of the tiger (hot and tangy with ranch) and playmaker (butter, seasoning and parm, with ranch and mild buffalo). Both were super tasty, packed with flavor, and did not disappoint. We found them to be especially good together as they balanced each other out. We got our take out and couldn't wait to pop these wings in our salivating mouths, so we ate them right there in the car, sitting in the parking lot. Not even ashamed.

Definitely a spot you'll wanna come visit when you visit Pittsburgh. I'm personally from Alabama (Mobile, AL specifically) and I could never find anything like FRY DADDYS but this place has it beat by bumper with the variety of wing flavors.

Start with the good: The food was excellent, I had the Panko Chicken Sandwich, panko breaded chicken breast (crispy!), Ciabatta roll, bacon, Pepper jack, American Honey bourbon chipotle remoulade, lettuce & tomato. Yummy and crispy. My wife had the Homemade Chicken Tenders (Single) (person that is!) 4 large, crispy, and tasty tenders! Both came with the House Spiced Fries (Miami spice?), they too were excellent. More good: great beer selection! Now the bad, the beer was warm. I had a Helles and my wife had a Hefe, and they were 65° at least. Oh well. Waitress was nice and the place was laid-back. I'd go back.

Delicious hoagie, amazing salads My grandson is extremely pickey said his burger was the best he's ever had the wings are delicious overall price isn't bad their food is well worth it. We usually order once a week from there and have always been happy with their food also friendly and polite service.
