The Olive Pit

I came across this shop when I was looking for an orange EVOO and vanilla fig balsamic vinegar. So many of the "boutique" olive oil companies charge an arm and leg for their products and I found the prices at The Olive Pit to be great. Plus, I couldn't believe all the flavors you can choose from. The owners are so nice and will bend over backwards to help you in making choices. I have my EVOO and vinegars shipped all the way to the San Diego area even though we have some olive oil companies local. That's how much I love their products! Plus they have their oil imported from Italy. All my friends and family love this stuff and ask for their information. Quick tip - get the Blood Orange EVOO and the Vanilla Fig Balsamic Vinegar and mix together for the most amazing bread dipper you've ever had!!

I stumbled across this business by accident, and my friend and I decided to go in and explore. The woman who was there, was very nice, helpful and knowledgeable as well. I ended up buying an apricot balsamic vinegar and it's absolutely fantastic! I drizzle it on my homemade yogurt with quinoa crispies and I end up with a delicious healthy snack or breakfast.This small business deserves your business, whether you like to cook or just like great flavor, you won't be let down! With the holidays right around the corner, it'll make gift giving a little easier.

The best shop in town!! You will be amazed how many olive oils there are and they gave recipe cards to help you cook with it. The owners are so kind and will go out of their way to help you. You'll be a regular after your first visit!!!
