Phenomenal. We hadn't gotten around to checking this place out in the past, because they are closed during our normal Saturday takeout window (around noon). We eventually found a slot to place an order on a day when our schedule was shifted somewhat, and we were very impressed. The grape leaves were excellent, with a pleasant lemon flavor. The fattoush salad had the perfect level of crispy pita pieces. The Mujaddara had the perfect amount of caramelized onion flavor and texture. The falafel was good, but the tomatoes and lettuce it came with were just a little sad. The taboulee salad was exactly what you would want it to be. For the most part, everything was good, and there were plenty of vegetarian options. In terms of the restaurant itself, everything was nicely decorated and tidy. The ordering process and pickup was very easy, though they didn't have an online ordering option (that I could find). That said, calling to place an order was easy enough. In general, this was an excellent find with a wide range of delicious Mediterranean food.

My problem with the food was the mousaka was incredibly salty..The rice pilaf didn't have pine nuts it had very hard almonds. The salad was average and the baba ganoush pales in comparison to Ali Baba. I shall not be returning

Came in for dinner with my mom and brother. The space is small, but bright and colored with inviting shades of blue. We were excited to try this restaurant because we love Mediterranean food and garlic in general We ordered the hummus and pita as an appetizer. The hummus was amazing!! So creamy, great flavor, no bitterness, very fresh. The pita bread came out warm, but didn't wow us. It seemed like a pre-packaged option that they just warm in the back. I ordered the lamb shawarma wrap, my mom had the chicken shawarma wrap, and my brother had the gyro platter. I loved the lamb shawarma wrap. It was juicy and flavorful from the first bite. It was also huge! I had to take half home for lunch the next day. My brother enjoyed the side salad that came with his platter ($2 to added shredded feta seemed a little high. We all agreed that feta should be included on a salad at a Mediterranean restaurant..) The gyro platter came with a pound of rice, I swear. It was lightly buttered and my brother thought it went well with the gyro meat. Unfortunately, the chicken shawarma wrap and garlic mousse was a disappointment. The chicken chunks were white. Bare. Plain. Absolutely no seasoning to be found. The entire wrap had no flavor at all. It tasted like chicken with lettuce and tomato. Period. We asked for a side of the garlic mousse to dip the wrap in and hopefully add some flavor. We were charged $2.50 for the side of mousse and it also had zero flavor. It was like whipped yogurt with a hint of lemon. No garlic to be spoken of. I would definitely come back for the hummus and lamb shawarma, but wouldn't recommend the chicken shawarma to anyone who is looking for that true garlic flavor.

My husband and I had the gyro platter. The flavor was excellent, but the gyro meat was the pressed slices like you buy at a grocery store. We expected fresh shaved meat. The rice pilaf was excellent, as was the pita. It's a very small place and the tables are extremely close together.

Their entrees are huge and come with a salad. I love the thickness of the dejaj bil khudar -- the green peas, tomato soup, and the chicken breast mixed up so well! I wish the rice was a bit less bland but it blends very well with the meat. The food came out in less than 10 min. I believe this is a family-run restaurant. Super impressive given there were many large parties. The host was fast in filling up water and offering to-go boxes. We went during Christmas season. The place was filled with festive decor, warm and cozy.

This has been our go to Lebanese restaurant in pittsburgh for years. It is family owned and operated. The dishes are very authentic. We love the hummus, baba, tabouli, cucumber yogurt salad, fattoush. Really all the appetizers are great. Their lamb shank is my kids favorite. Also have enjoyed the mixed grill and moussaka and loubeyeh.

Ever since the truly amazing Istanbul Grille closed (RIP) I have been hoping for a replacement restaurant with fresh, homeade Mediterranean food. I did not care much for Pasha or Turkish Kebab House but I was excited to try Mediterranean Grill with some friends. Unfortunately I can say that the search will continue.I ordered the beef kofta, which comes with a salad and about a metric ton of rice and a measley four small pieces of meat. While the rice and salad were pretty decent, this honestly was some of the worst, most anemic, dried out kofta I have ever had. I couldnt finish and have nothing good to say about this disappointment of what is normally a juicy, amazing, well seasoned dish. The hot sauce and accompanying garlic sauce were no less disappointing. This tasted like it must have come frozen off a Sysco truck and nothing at all like homeade beef. If you have ever had good Middle Eastern food dont look for it here. Absolutely not. The decent appetizers and salads are not enough to salvage this.

Quaint and amazing Lebanese food. Everything is delicious from the mixed grill down to the rice pilaf. Don't forget to order extra grape leaves for the cravings you'll have a day later. My son LOVED the lamb chops- who wouldn't! I tried the raw kibbee for the first time and enjoyed it. You cannot go wrong with anything on the menu.

I'm not sure if it's because I got there and placed my order 20 minutes before closing, but I was very underwhelmed by the food. Both the rice and meat (chicken and lamb) lacked flavor. The meat & rice were cooked well as neither was dry, but they truly tasted unseasoned. However, the salad was yummy and the women who took my order was very nice, so I'm hoping my food experience was simply because it was closing time.

We stopped in for a quick meal before going to the movie theater. The appetizer plate with hummus etc was excellent, and the Mezza size portion of the moussaka was huge- and delicious. Service was quick and pleasant.
