We went to a class they held there --- it was the folks that own muddy waters oyster bar teaching a class on how to shuck oysters. It was SO much fun. We learned a ton and now know how to shuck oysters. The space is gorgeous and they have a cute gift shop plus a lot of sample granite/quartz/butcher block, since that is Vangura's main business. The venue did not try to push sales of their products at all. We were there for the event and it was fantastic. It is BYOB as well. We will be signing up for future classes. Thank you to everyone involved

Vangura and The Kitchen by Vangura are absolutely gorgeous! We're long standing customers and with every visit, we get more ideas. Wonderful employees, Krystal, Erica, Robert, Berny and the man himself, Ed Vangura, are warm and welcoming. My daughter will be purchasing the new T-Rez next. Signed up for cooking classes, too, and will add more after that.

This place is a terrific date night or couples night out spot...Set in what could be a television kitchen and cooking studio, The Kitchen teaches culinary technique while learning to make an outstanding meal with friends (and new friends) in an interactive theatre-type setting. Starting with high quality ingredients, you get to learn some terrific cooking styles all while preparing your multi-course meal in the company of friends and strangers. From start to finish this place delivers an enjoyable culinary experience as every course was delicious! Plus, even though you cook, you don't have to do the dishes...always a bonus. While we made an Italian feast, I'm glad to hear they will offer varying cuisines in upcoming "classes" as this is sure to be a repeat night out with friends! Just book now...something tells me this place is going to catch on fast!

Recently attended Mommy & me bunny cake decorating class at Vanguara Kitchen...it was such a great experience. My 5 year old daughter loved it. We made a bunny cake that not only turned out beautiful but was delicious to eat. My daughter left the event wanting to know when we can attend another! I definitely recommend!

State of the art demonstration kitchen. Very impressive space. Well organized and enjoyable event. The chef and product specialist were knowledgeable and engaging. The prepared meal was delicious and beautifully presented. Highly recommend attending events at The Kitchen and we've already bought tickets to two upcoming events.

I can't stop returning to The Kitchen by Vangura. Every time I attend, whether it be with my husband, mom, or friends, we have a great time. The chefs that teach are always so knowledgeable, one chef even brought us wine! I've been to two classes with Dorothy Tague and she is seriously the best. She has an amazing sense of (dry) humor and doesn't put up with people who want to talk while she is teaching! I love that about her, because even though we are there to have fun, I want to learn something too!I also attended an Italian class with Giuseppe. It was a smaller class on a week night and he and the other chef (whose name is escaping me right now) brought wine for us, and cooked everything for us and answered any and every question we had. All in all, great experience. I recommend this to everyone who says they want to try a cooking class!!!

I enrolled in the Oktoberfest class as a gift for my wife. I wanted to give her an experience rather than a material gift. The Kitchen at Vangura absolutely delivers that experience. First, the venue is gorgeous. It is synonymous with the name, Vangura. There are multiple stations to which you and others will cook up something delicious. These stations double as a fantastic example of the quality Vangura is known for. Let's talk about the deliciousness now. Whether you are a novice or pro, these classes are terrific. We met our chef, Dorothy, who also teaches classes at Chop, Wok, & Talk. She may have been the best feature of the evening. We immediately felt at ease in Grandma's kitchen. Participation was a must. Teamwork is necessary. The recipes were amazing. For a few novices, it definitely felt like restaurant quality food. More valuable though, was the methods and techniques we learned. Dorothy includes everyone in the preparation. She is willing to answer all questions. She also shares a lot based on her extensive knowledge (like a trip to Italy taught her to tap the tip of an egg to the side of another egg to break the shell). If I have any feedback, it would be go hungry. Try everything, even if it's out of your comfort zone. It's BYOB, so be sure to take your drink. Our class was very gracious and shared with one another, which was another great feature. We will certainly be returning for the classes, especially Dorothy's, pairings and instructional tastings.
