Awesome service, awesome food! Ordered the hot sausage sandwich and the BLT; both were fantastic. A little pricey, but I believe that it is well worth it. Highly recommend this place.

I have been twice and I have been happy both times. First, it's a really cool little shop, with some awesome stuff hanging on the walls for you to look at while you wait for your food to be ready. More importantly, the sandwiches are absolutely amazing!! I've tried the steak and the Italian and they were both amazing. The 8 inch hoagies are more than enough for me as they are also about 4 inches wide on Mancinis hoagie rolls. Lastly, the people in the shop are so friendly and welcoming. They also sell a bunch of other stuff here like desserts, candy, pretzels chips etc. definitely check this place out if you are in the neighborhood and Hungary for a great hoagie or more!

Stopped in for a quick lunch. There is a kielbasa and hot dog stand out front. The printed menu is on the counter and there is a board in the back that seemed to not have everything that was on the printed menu and some additional items, a little confusing for a first time visit. The menu has some subs, sandwiches, chili. The had a Steeler game day special. Anyway, I ordered the Italian Stallion. A tasty Italian sub with some banana peppers and it included some Italian dressing to add to your hoagie if you desire. It was very good and included shredded lettuce and tomato. Will have to stop back and try some of the other items on the menu. Welcome to the neighborhood.

Think my cheeseburger hoagie was called the Outlaw. It was incredibly good. Comes with seasoned curly fries on top and bacon if you'd like. Great food for a very affordable price. Quaint, clean shop with plenty of places to stand and eat at high tables and a few places outside as well. Service was good and friendly--the kind of non-franchise, neighborhood place you love to patronize. Next time I'm buying some extra subs for take home lunches. You won't regret a stop here!

Delicious sandwiches and awesome customer service! As a local girl, I have been here several times and I'm not sure why it's taken me this long to review but the prices are great and it's high quality food!! I've only had the subs (the Italian sub is great, the pizza sub is so good- ordered it for my daughter but I loved it just as much as her- and also the roast beef sandwich was tasty!!) I am excited to try the salads next time!

We have been wanting to try the Kickstand for a while as we always see the grill fired up on the Boulevard. On nice days there is outdoor seating (nothing really inside since the space is small). I went with a BLT hoagie which came with the bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. My husband got a steak sandwich. The portions were good and all fresh ingredients. Very tasty rolls. I also got the wedding soup which was delicious. My only issue was in the menu description it said all sandwiches come with provolone cheese. Both of our sandwiches did not have cheese which was a disappointment- they must have forgot. The Kickstand is a great takeout option in Brookline and I would recommend for lunch or dinner.

Pretty solid Italian sub, would rate it a 3.5/5. The snake inside made me jump but overall adds to the charm. Free hot chocolate on Wednesdays gets me to 5 stars overall.
