Yum! We were in the area and tried this place based on reviews. We ordered the cheese sticks, breadsticks, cheese pizza and eggplant parmesan. The cheese sticks breading was awesome, but unfortunately they must have exploded during cooking so each cheese stick was hollow. The breadsticks were delicious, I think they were made from pizza dough. The cheese pizza was okay, there was a meaty flavor that I couldn't pinpoint (no meat was on the pizza). The eggplant parm was reaaaaaallllllly good. We loved the marinara sauce and the ranch deserves a shout out too! We will definitely be back to try some other dishes!

More like 3.5.This is one of those restaurant names that I hear Pittsburgh folks get nostalgia over so when I was going to be in the connelsville area around meal time I had to stop. Apparently this is the last location left.It has the traditional "old school" Italian American design inside. The dining room has a view into the pizza oven area and has a variety of seating options including tables and booths.The reason I didn't give four stars was the service. It was obvious there were regulars and also very obvious that they had much better attention than we did. I had to ask for the bread basket everyone else was automatically brought and it wasn't noticed when we needed refills on drinks..The food was tasty (I choose the make your own pasta) and the portions big. Definitely order their specialty, the fried zucchini. It's seasoned and fried to perfection.I'd probably visit again if I was in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to go back.

Quick, friendly service. Good sized portions of very tasty foods make this restaurant a hit with me. There's a menu pick for almost everyone. All four of us were extremely impressed with the taste s of our food, different flavors of pasta. The sauces were all delicious. The bread that came with our meals was very tasty. My only complaint is that there is no gluten free pasta available. This would be my complaint with most establishments. Fortunately I am not one who is so medically compromised that I couldn't cheat for one meal. No parties over 6. I am a seasonal resident so I will be back whenever I am in the area.
