The Hotel & Rosa's Cantina

I love to try new places and this place was a random stop on my wheel of wanting to try. They didn't have many Gluten Free options but they did allow you to get burgers without buns which is good. I tried the Hotel Smash Burger and the Steak Salad. It was shaved steak and the flavor was really good. I am not one to usually like blue cheese but this was actually really good. The balsamic dressing was really good too. And what other way is there go eat a salad without it Pittsburgh style with fries on top. The fries were PERFECTLY COOKED. I love a crispy flavorful fry and it was top notch. The burger was delicious as well it was cooked to perfection and the the caramelized onions were a really good pairing on top of the burger. The margaritas were delicious I tried both the Valencia Orange and the Pomegranate and they were perfect portion sizes and I LOVED the cup it came in. They came in a terracotta vase looking cup that went well with the Western Aesthetic. It was a cute little place. Not a huge place but a cute place. The server was super nice and friendly as well.

Always nice familiar faces, good food, strong drinks and a friendly, warm atmosphere. The service is always right on. I love when they update the menu with each season... I can't wait to see what additions are in store for Winter. They are also introducing Trivia now on Thursdays at 7pm and eventually Karaoke nights!!!

Wow. Staff is so personable. Drinks are fabulous. We had the salted caramel martini and the El Fuego! I'm not a huge fan of the norm espresso martinis but this one touches all areas of your tongue. My mouth is very satisfied. My husbands El Fuego was extremely fresh, like made with freshly picked ingredients. That's how we like things. We also had the Tiramisu which was any sweet tooth's luxurious satisfaction. My husband is immersed in a conversation with the guy next to us. Love the atmosphere and the staff! We will be back to eat!

So came down on a beautiful Saturday afternoon and decided it was lunchtime. So we walked in and were seated immediately. Service was great, we ordered Carnitas Tacos scrumptious, the carnitas was excellent as well as the toppings. Definitely order the tacos. The Sewickley Salad, not the best shaved steak, dry and not a lot of flavor. I would have been happy with just the salad - thus the loss of one star. So if you are looking for a great local spot this is it, just order the tacos.

Country themed tavern with good American food! There is bar seating, tables, and booths available. They do not take reservations. We had a great night here. Good music was playing inside the restaurant and a live band was next door. Our waitress was sooo sweet! We got the diablo burger and it was 10/10. So juicy, flavorful, and fresh. Highly recommend. We will be back!

Stopped in on a Friday night with my husband and our two young boys after walking around downtown Sewickley. The hostess was quick to accommodate us with high chairs and get us settled with menus. The restaurant had a country/southern/native american theme. The inside is a little bit tight, but a nice atmosphere. I grew up with a father who had lived near an american indian reservation and learned how to make delicious fry bread. I have been to some restaurants that haven't done fry bread well at all, but this place did an amazing job! I loved my meal! It was too big for me to finish, but the leftovers were wonderful too. My husband wasn't too impressed with his smash burger--not bad at all, just not amazing either.

Great service and situated at the center of the town. I ordered Manny's chicken salad and it fell below my expectations. There was an abundance of corn and black beans, which tasted like it was poured out of a can. Not sure I'll order the salad but willing to go back there again.

I've been to The Hotel twice and really look forward to when I can return. It's a great day when I get to peruse the streets of downtown Sewickley for a day and then stop in here at night. Maybe it's because I am a western soul at heart, but it really feels like home when I am here. I appreciate the attention to detail that goes into making me embrace my true inner cowgirl through those doors.The drinks are unique and pack a punch! I have never had navajo fry bread but it was a new and interesting experience, although it's not something I feel the need to order every time. The quesadillas were my main squeeze, and I would be glad to become a regular for them. The inside seating is just a bit crammed - we asked to be moved to another booth so I wasn't touching elbows with a stranger. I have yet to go on a day with pleasant weather, but I am excited to sit on the outdoor patio soon.

This has become our go to date night spot. The food is always amazing. The prices are very reasonable. The service is fantastic. The Brussel sprouts are out of this world. We don't even want to get other places for fear of missing out on the fantastic food here. Highly recommend!

Open late, at the bar at the Cantina you can get a burger, a hot toddy, and friendly conversation. Prices a little higher than I expected to pay. Stereotypical Western decor. If I remember correctly, gender-segregated restrooms. Parking on the street.
