The Hot Dog Shoppe

Very easy to get in sit down order quickly the food was fast and fresh. The service was excellent, and the ambience was really cool. Looking with the pictures and a lot of windows to look out and see traffic.

Friendly, fast and delicious! I really enjoyed the diner vibe. The staff was very friendly. My order was ready in under a minute. The house chili sauce is rich and just a little salty, but in a good way. Steamed buns are soft.I'll definitely visit again!

A friend told me about this place. He raved about it so me, friends and family made the journey to Warren. Love the old style snake counter. Place has that 1950s dinner vibe. We sat at the bar and the waiter was friendly. The beef hotdog was good and the coney sauce was okay. The sauce was a touch sweet for me but everyone enjoyed it. The burger looked sad and my friend didn't like it. He did have a chocolate milkshake and gave that two thumbs up. I would eat here again.

I realize people say there chili isn't as good as it used to be to be. But being new to the area my family and really like there chili cheese dogs and chili cheese fries. Would recommend.

They have great hot dogs here! And you get a lot of fries with a regular order. Service was nice and friendly! Terrific value for a place to get a quick lunch.

Average hotdog. Nothing special. Got cheese and chili on it. Fries were a little better than average.

gave this place another try and gave it 2 more stars - perhaps the fact that we had to eat in the car last time due to Covid protocol soured our last experience? .. we got a "bundle" .. 2 cheeseburgers + 4 chili dogs + a family sized fries .. the burgers again were the same frozen patties but again edible - we both enjoyed the hot dogs a lot more and I immediately asked for a to go box for some fries to take home when I saw (and kinda prepared myself for) the huge portion of the family size - adding salt and vinegar to those fries takes them next level in terms of flavor - and I also give props to a place that serves cherry soda .. Fanta Cherry? .. YES PLEASE!

The hot dog shoppe is a great place with great food. The waiters are so sweet and kind. I feel the hot shoppe is a very positive place. There cherry Fanta is phenomenal!

I have been eating here since I was in high school, and I'm 67 now. Depending on the time of day, you always could get a slightly overcooked batch of sauce here-- and that is true for any restaurant that makes their sauces in large batches. I detect no difference in the sauce recipe AT ALL. What idiot would spend millions buying a long-established restaurant (and in several locations), then change a central item's recipe that is a huge part of the restaurant's success?If anything, they have tried to keep it traditional by going back to the original offering of GLASSES of beverage instead of the Styrofoam that the original owners switched to years ago.
