All 3 of my girls attended this location at Goddard from 2014-2024. I cannot say enough about how nice my experience was. The family that owns it was so personable and extremely sweet to myself and my girls all throughout. The school faculty is some of the nicest I've ever met as well. Very understanding through whatever we needed. Also, my daughters all tested highly in their elementary school testing in the beginning of the year. Their curriculum is fantastic! I was so sad to leave there this past spring and I will miss it!

Over promised and under delivered. We were so excited to take our child to Goddard; so many great reviews, seemed wonderful during the tour, and great curriculum. After just a few weeks, we saw a completely different side. The team seemed annoyed and frustrated with our child. Everyday the "personalized notes" came back negative about our baby. I had to stop reading them because they were so negative. The Director and Owner seemed heartless and uncaring about our child's needs, which is truly sad for a place that prides itself on "creating a warm yet individualized experience to meet each child's needs." NOTE: I will say there was one teacher who was wonderful and genuinely seemed happy to see our child everyday, so this is not for all staff. This school costs almost as much as the mortgage on your house, but no matter how much money you spend, apparently, you cannot buy empathy, a conscience or a heart. I truly hope no one experiences what our family went through.

My child was bitten 12 times over a 7-month period at Goddard Upper St. Clair (USC). Each bite left a red marking on my son at minimum, but more often with a black and blue and purple bruise on his body. My husband and I were told and presented with a paper that described biting as "normal" behavior after expressing concern over the phone to one of the directors. As the incidents accumulated, I called one of the owners directly to discuss an action plan to prevent or reduce this behavior. Her response was that she could "try" to add a support teacher occasionally, but they had staffing issues, and she didn't "know what to tell" me. By the 12th biting incident, I contacted the Department of Human Services (DHS) for help and was told that the quantity was indeed considered excessive and warranted the filing of a complaint, which I did.I also rated Goddard USC zero stars on their annual survey, based on the lack of care or regard for the safety and well-being of my child as exhibited by the directors and ownership throughout our experiences.Approximately two weeks after my DHS complaint, my child was dismissed from the school without any advance notice. The owner verbally acknowledged that the dismissal was in retaliation to my poor feedback. Neither myself nor my husband will ever trust a Goddard property to care for our loved one again.

Both our kids LOVE it here. Teachers and directors are great, our girls have learned so much and talk about their friends and teachers all the time.

We LOVE this school. Both of my kids started here in the infant room and it has been a wonderful experience. The kids are well cared for and happy. The teachers actually teach the kids (even the babies). The directors know all of the kids personally and truely care about the families. We are so lucky to send our kids here!

Our two children attend The Goddard School in USC, and we could not be happier with the care, attention, and education they are receiving. They are safe, well taken care of, and the directors and teachers have taken the time to get to know our family. Goddard uses an app to share pictures throughout the day, as well as a summary of the day's lesson plans and how well my kids napped and ate. If an issue ever arises (whether illness or injury), they clearly communicate with me and my husband by giving us a call and, if we don't answer, leaving a detailed message to let us know what's going on and/or how it's being addressed. Teacher communication is also strong and helpful. We often hear feedback during drop-off or pick-up, and also get detailed reports during parent-teacher conferences. They offer fun programming throughout the summer and occasional events throughout the regular school year.
