Absolutely wonderful. Been here twice and had the greatest food and service both times. This time had the gobbler... which is a seasonal menu item. Home run. This thing was perfect. Also had Mac & cheese... chili... and boneless wings. Everything was great. Earl was a fantastic bartender... spot on. We will definitely return soon

Local watering hole alert! We moved to the area in March... I think we have eaten at the Getaway 5 or 6 times in the last couple of months, and we will continue to eat there. For meal the BBQ boneless wings hit the spot when I have the craving and for me lady the veg head, Mac and cheese pay extra for the pretzel stick - hits the spot every time. Bar atmosphere many a TV to watch the Steelers, pirates, pens. Servers do a great job I mean everything you can ask for in a local watering hole.

Went to the Getaway Bar for the first time around 5pm on a Tuesday. It was empty! I was shocked. When you walk in, there is an area to the left to get beers to go. The restaurant is on the right. We seated ourselves and the staff came over immediately. They were so friendly and knowledgeable regarding the menu items. I ordered the Big Sky Burger well done. It was DELICIOUS! I would definitely order that again. My friend ordered the wontons and said they were really good. By the time we left after 7, the place was starting to fill up. They had a big parking lot so no issues with parking. I cant wait to come back and try more items from the menu!

Stopped in for happy hour with a friend on a Friday. The spot is great. We ordered appetizers as they are half off for happy hour, and they came out of the kitchen before we knew it. It's nice that their drinks are also half off for happy hour. I tried the pretzels, Cuban egg rolls, nachos, Texas fries, spinach, and mushroom quesadilla, and topped it off with a fat heads beer. I wasn't a huge fan of the quesadilla, there wasn't a lot of cheese and just giant hunks of mushrooms, but it was still ok. The service was great, the waitress came around often to make sure we were still doing OK. I would definitely come back here. Happy eating!

Ok first gotta say wasn't crazy about going here pretty loud and busy, however our server was a pleasant surprise, she was friendly knowledgeable and fast, we ordered food and drinks, first thing I noticed was the place was pretty big but clean, food was good and hot. Ordered a salad it was fresh vibrant colors and tasted as good as it was presented, next was the Wings probably some of the best in the South Hills, the burger was a lil over cooked to my liking however fresh beef, the management was on the floor and on point, drinks were good and our bartender was very nice the place is very welcoming and clean!Would definitely recommend.

Food is really good! Weekly specials are always tasty. Wings are cooked perfectly...you can choose from a variety of sauces. Mac 'n cheese, hot dogs & BLT sandwich are some of our other favorites.

Fantastic atmosphere and service and good bingo was a ton of fun! Had the beer pretzels and cheese curds which were delicious!
