The Funky Brunch

One of our favorite places to come! Amazing food great prices and beautiful atmosphere! Saw eggs Benedict from 7 years ago with asparagus and they made me the same thing. Perfect hollandaise sauce. Amazing biscuits. Hard to choose what to eat!

Funky is correct but not in a good way. I would skip it. The menu was disappointing and the staff (which there were many) didn't seem to notice us. I would not return.

The Funky Brunch has reopened and shares space with Josephine's Pizzeria & Enoteca. The owners are the same as the original Funky Brunch and the menu is short but excellent. The French Toast is the best that I have ever had. Think slices of bread topped with fresh fruit and a side of thick cut bacon, If you go after 11:00, people in you party can also order off of the Josephine's menu.

This restaurant has great food. The owner seemed super friendly. Our waitress/service was a little questionable; she seemed distracted and forgetful even though virtually no one else was in the restaurant, and the prices seemed high for breakfast/brunch. But everything we ordered was super tasty and I'd come back again just for that reason.

I ate here on June 8. I wrote an excellent review that day, but YELP decided to put it in the section of "reviews not recommended" , although my photos remained. So I deleted it and repost. This was my first time here and I will definitely be back. Great service and food. My cup was never empty. That's a plus.

Went to funky brunch while staying in town. It has a nice hip feel to it while still feeling like a laid back diner. Coffee was way better than most cheap breakfast places and our server always kept our cups full. I ordered the border skillet, served in a cute personal skillet with delicious carnitas, fresh veggies and the perfect light cheese. Not a huge serving but probably the perfect amount for anyone with a decent appetite. Great atmosphere, the ?owner/manager? was there, thanked us for being there and made sure we enjoyed ourselves. Definitely will go back later this week before I head out of Indiana. Edit: oh, also, the tables had large white paper coverings with crayons in a cup in the center, and obviously myself and the 3 adults with me all exercised our artistic skills on it. It was a nice touch, this place would probably be great for kids.

A cool new spot to grab brunch in Indiana. I ordered the classic eggs benny with hash browns and it was very good, asparagus was cooked perfectly. Coffee and service was also good. Really enjoyed the music here also.

Overall, I really liked it here! I ordered the Southwestern skillet. The vegetables and meat were delicious, but this definitely didn't taste like Mexican food or have much flavor. I also feel like the food inside of the skillet was burnt once I was about halfway through eating it. The cappuccino was good but a bit small for the price point of $3. Holli was our server and she was great. Very nice and prompt with her service! I would like to come back to get another dish. Worth the visit!

Came with with a bridal party for brunch after a morning at the spa. Joseph was so helpful in getting everything arranged, and really helped make the meal feel special!

As an IUP student returning from summer break, I was thrilled to see another brunch place pop up in downtown Indiana. My first time eating at The Funky Brunch was a great experience. The restaurant had such a fun vibe and a modern feel that a brunch place in a city might have. I was pleased when our waiter kept coming around with refills on my coffee, too. I loved the egg scramble dishes on the menu as well as the freshly baked biscuits. The food, environment, and staff were very pleasant and I cannot wait to go back.
