First time for us. A cozy warm atmosphere with an inviting touch. It has this rustic charm about it with the rock walls and large fireplace. A large dining room with a waiting area near the bar. We must have missed the breakfast rush because we were the only ones in there. The waitress was very kind and attentive to our needs. We all had breakfast and wow, was there a lot of food. Very tasty and seasoned quite well. Prices were reasonable for the size portions they serve.. Thumbs up!

The pork chop was amazing, as were the Brussel sprouts. Our server, Angie, was friendly and did a wonderful job with our special requests

Went here for drinks with a friend and let me tell you - this place is not much to look at from the outside or in, but GIVE IT A SHOT. Drinks were dirt cheap and people were friendly. Had such a good night that we went back with more friends the next night. Staff pulled out a large table to accommodate us and we drank and sang karaoke. Staff found out we we're getting married that weekend and passed out champagne to the whole bar for a toast! Can't say enough about this place.

I had a late lunch at The County Seat. The kitchen had just closed, but the cook hadn't yet left and was persuaded to reopen the kitchen. I ordered the roast beef sandwich special. I found the price reasonable, the portion generous, the food tasty, and the owner gregarious. This place is a must, if one is at the courthouse and needs a bite to eat.

So I was in town working a gig at the courthouse and figured I would swing in for lunch since its right there. I had some work to do on my laptop so a place I could unwind, warm up (it was the middle of winter), and a get a bite to eat was needed badly. When I first went in I saw the fire place was roaring and sat right beside it to warm up which was nice. First thing I noticed was that my cell phone didn't work (the place is a cave) and that there was no wifi. I looked around and then also realized I was the only one there even though it was noon on a Tuesday. The waitress came and I ordered a roast beef sandwich with mashed potatoes plus a coffee. The coffee came first and tasted like it was made yesterday so I asked for another "fresh" cup and was given the same thing (I think they microwaved it). Once the food came I was really let down. The sandwich had the cheapest grocery store bun they could find, the meat was pretty tough, and the gravy tasted like it was out of a can. I had a similar meal at a hospital the previous week that was way better than this. The bill came to $13 bucks which I reluctantly paid for but it really should have only have been $4. You can get better food in a prison. I wont be back.

I would like to know how many repeat customers they get here. I can't imagine anybody returning here. One and done. Same dreadful decor that was here 50 years ago. Unbelievable. Drab and dreary. I could make a better breakfast at home. Sooo sad!!! Order never put in. But I guess it is Kitt what else can I say

Wonderful, wonderful wait staff!! The older gentlemen (I believe the owner of both restaurants, that always asks how he can improve ) needs to get it together. There is absolutely no reason to call out or humiliate a waitress for doing her job. If you have a local " all you can eat" event on a Friday night, be prepared for it. There were people walking out, complaining about wait time, and waitresses in tears for how they were treated. This not how you run a business. As the owner, you should be concerned about the customer and their experience. I will never be back and I would never recommend this establishment to anyone.

They just added Chicken Marsala and Pasta Carbonara to the menu. I had the Chicken Marsala on Valentine's day, it was excellent. Best Chicken Marsala in town, and yes I've tried everyone's.

County seat goer since the change of ownership, staff is very nice and do their best to cater to you the best they can. A new cook had just been hired, and he does a great job, him and the owner seem to work well together, and the lunch specials are generously portioned at a great price, rarely more than 8 bucks. The real deal breaker is the all you can eat fish on Fridays, best in town by far, and they make it in a wide variety of different styles, my favorite being the pan fried. Just make sure you put your order in for your next piece of fish when you recover the previous because the wait is sometimes a little long. Will continue to enjoy and would recommend to anyone!l
