The Chadwick

Yesterday, I attended a friend's bridal shower at the Chadwick. I had driven by the traditional-style Chadwick sign multiple times while heading from Cranberry/Wexford to McCandless/Ross Park areas after work but knew absolutely nothing about the establishment.I was very impressed by this venue space. Upon entering, there was great signage to find where to go for the event that you were attending. The building seemed to be very well maintained and recently renovated. Everything that I consumed was also delicious. From the beverages to the brunch of sausage links, eggs with cheese, banana french toast, and yogurt parfaits, I was really impressed with the quality of the food! I generally have very low expectations for the food served at an event space like this one, but the quality of food here far exceeded my expectations.

Recently attended a wedding reception held at The Chadwick. It was beautiful. The venue is classy and the staff was wonderful. I can't say enough about how attend full they were. A man named Keith was our server and he was amazing, super nice and hard working! We were very pleased with this whole experience and will be considering The Chadwick for our next big event.

I am a bride and had my wedding at The Chadwick in May of 2013.I'm going to preface this by saying that YES, I wanted a package deal. I was planning my event from out of state and wanted to deal with as few vendors and little nitty-gritty details as possible.My husband and I worked with Stacey for the planning piece- she was awesome and readily accessible through e-mail or phone. I feel like I got everything that I wanted in the package that we designed together and that the pricing was fair. I would say that it would be a bit over-priced on a Saturday though. (paying full price- Friday and Sunday weddings get a decent sized price break).We had what they called the Elegant Sitdown Reception- 4 courses, plated and served. The food was pretty good for my taste and my guests loved it (which is what really mattered to me).The outdoor patio is beautiful!In response to a comment below- they must have updated the bathrooms. They look brand new now. They also did a bunch of work to the entrance hall that was under construction when I first went to tour the facility and completed by the time my wedding rolled around.Our event coordinator was really on her game the day of and I have ZERO complaints about her.tldr: my wedding was great! I was a very easygoing bride though and didn't have any sort of "grand vision" that I needed the details to be perfect on. They executed what I had in mind as well we I would have myself.Definitely recommend for a bride who has a busy schedule and wants to leave the details up to someone else.

I had my daughter in laws baby shower here today and I can't say enough good things about it. Starting with all the great customer service from Stacy to set it up. The venue is just so beautiful too! We had Janet as our helper with the food, etc and she is TOP NOTCH!! She bent over backwards to help us. We had the Brunch Buffet and everyone RAVED about how good the food was!! This was a wonderful experience all the way around! I HIGHLY recommend them!!

Oh my... OH MY the food. Oh my...So I went here for a wedding. The wedding was lovely. Lovely bride, lovely ceremony. The setup here wasn't too bad either, but the food... oh my the food.o.o I literally considered dumping some of it on the floor so it looked like I had eaten something. o.OOh my... The fish... was fishier than $.25 canned cat food, luke warm, and unspiced. The vegetables were sparse, microwaved to a self contained gerber approved mushed but not mashed consistency akin to soft raw tofu, and tasted about the same. The potatoes were boiled but left quartered (evident from the excess of water they were bathing in), with no spice and slightly raw in the middle.O.OJust no.

I'm a wedding photographer and recently had the opportunity to shoot at the Chadwick. It's a different perspective but it works. Food - typical but good, the wedding soup was wayyy to salty!Lynda - She's amazing and the BEST asest you have. She deserves a raise. I'm not kidding. To have someone that not only cars for the bride/groom/family but also those around her assisting, is an asset! Our server - Diane quickly learned our table was also servants (photographers and video) she forgot our salads and never returned after that. No coffee, tea or cake. We're used to that service but Lynda did not miss a beat. I think the outdoor wedding spot is amazing? I think your spot is amazing, and service is great. I like to give honest reviews. Lynda is amazing it was great to meet her. I'm glad my couple picked your spot. I'm glad i've got to photograph there. Wish you well!

The Chadwick is the place to have your reception. My experience:My wife and I got married in March 2024 and had our reception at the Chadwick. We spent about half a year organizing it, working with Stacy, Chadwick's Event Planning Manager. From the first meeting, she was extremely easy to work with and very helpful. She laid out all of our options and was honest in her process, allowing us to design the event how we wanted. She was our main support and I can't thank her enough for her excellent work.The Chadwick's dining service was similarly excellent. Our selection process was breezy, and the food tasted just as good when we sampled it as it did at the wedding. The in-house chef was great to work with and was a great help during the tasting process. Our guests gave us rave reviews both at the reception and after -- it was really that good.The Chadwick has a great location. The parking lot is expansive, and the venue is clean and elegant. Our ballroom was a perfect fit for about 130 guests. The table layout was custom-tailored and the (included!) bar service was a hit.The cost is unbeatable for the value, the staff is communicative and smart, the food is truly excellent, and the venue is wonderful. The Chadwick has my highest recommendation. I hope you give them a call to plan your big day.

Stacey helped me to plan the perfect baby shower. She was quick to respond to my emails. She was accommodating to my changes. The food was delicious! And such a variety. The severs were wonderful and were constantly refilling drinks or clearing dishes. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend!!

We had a baby shower there. The whole experience was fantastic! The rooms are beautiful and we had several choices based on size. The food was excellent. They estimated amounts perfectly and everyone had plenty to eat. The staff were so helpful and friendly!!!! I can not say enough nice things about this whole experience!

We just had our third event, a baby shower, in four years at the Chadeick and, once again they out did themselves. Their attention to detail and customer service is outstanding. Everyone had a wonderful time and I didn't have to worry about anything because it was already taken care of by their staff. I recommend The Chadwick to anyone who wants a stress free event.Thank you Stacy, Jackie and team for another successful event.
