The Burrow

Visited this bar/restaurant following the Groundhog Day festivities in Punxsutawney. They are not typically open for breakfast, but were running special hours and a special menu due to the weekend's celebrations.We got two of the breakfast plates, as it was a little too early for the kitchen to do lunch. Though advertised as bacon/sausage, we were automatically given bacon (not sure if they ran out or just forgot to ask if it was supposed to be a choice).The ordering process was simple and food came out very quickly. The place was lively and appeared to be a nice hangout spot under normal operations. Appreciative of the business being open for special hours on Groundhog Day!

Best bar in Punxsutawney ever. There Is fantastic. I always get the chili cheese fries. They. Are amazing. Then usually get the chicken Philly. So amazing. Inwouk recommend anything on the menu cause wverhinf I o good

In typical Punxy fashion the outside betrays the very active bar and restaurant inside. The food is a step above bar food and the kitchen works hard on quality within the tavern basics. Nice selection of beers on tap. Friendly service.

Great sports bar to watch a game, or three, and have a nice drink. I didn't try any food, and from what I have read, that's a good idea. But otherwise, we had a great time at the bar. The staff is wonderful, personable, and take their time to make sure you're drinking something you'll actually enjoy. And there were TVs everywhere to watch any sports we wanted. I think it was a pretty great joint for a chill sports night out!!

First, our waitress Lindsay, when she bothered to come around, was snooty and had a huge attitude. Second, the plate and knife we were given were dirty and when we addressed it with her we were told they're clean and not dirty, but yet you could seethe grease and dirt on them. Third, the steak sandwich we ordered was only 30% meat while the rest was pepper and onions. No refills were offered, but she also never bothered to come back to our table at all once food was dropped off. Overall terrible experience.

Friendly atmosphere with immediate service and friendly staff. Ordered a guinness pint and the bratwurst special and overall it was worth it!

Wings used to be whole and actually wet with sauce. Now you get some form of dry rub and a bill that seems about 10$ high. Wallmart is cheaper with bigger wings and long and behold they actually have sauce on them! All and all id bet the new owners run it better. Looking at you mizercocks

The food was good, but the service was absolutely awful. My husband ordered fries with his burger. He never got them, but several other tables, that ordered after us, did receive fries with their meals. We asked for the fries to be removed from our bill, but they only took off a small amount. Very disappointing!!

Cool place! I was in Dubois for training in Brockway for a great company ProChemTech.com. Nothing really much in Brockway or Dubois so headed to where the Ground Hog shows his face or not in Punxsutawney. So cool because I have watched ground hog day like 100 times. I checked in at the Burrow and had a great time. Zach was on staff behind the bar and did an excellent job taking care of my group. Food was very good. I had the Hot pepper cheese balls and ordered the Buffalo chicken sandwich to go. It was very good. Good luck and if you have time stop in!
