The Belle Tavern

Another one of my go to local places. Their Greek salad with salmon is one of my favorites as well as the buffalo cauliflower.

Ordered chili and it was excellent. Came with tortilla chips and was perfect. Ordered a Black and Bleu burger and a bacon cheeseburger. They were perfectly cooked and the taste was superb. Service was great from walking in the door. Definitely will be back.

Wow I cannot wait to go back! I ordered take out. They helped me at the bar and had my take out so quickly. I'm excited to try other things on the menu but it's going to be really hard not to order this bolognese again. The noodles were so fresh! I'm excited to have this right in Rostraver. I'm excited to eat in and sit outside at the patio

Slow, lack of attentive service. Loud. Tasteless burger. Did they boil it? This is the second visit. Probably my last.

We've enjoyed several meals at the Tavern and loved all of them . Excellent Reuben egg rolls, prime rib and Italian beef hoagies.

This restaurant is not even worth one star. We went there to try their Sweeney's Special Sandwich which we remember from a few years ago. They called it Sweeney's Special on the menu, adding that it is their rendition of same. It is false advertising. Other than the tomato and lettuce, it is not at all like or similar to the Sweeney's Special. Bread was stale, not toasted, I am not sure if it was a roasted turkey salad or chicken salad it was that bad. In any event, it was loaded with mayo, no flavor. The original Sweeney's Special had flavor and lots of it. I wanted it taken off my bill as it was a comedy of errors of a sandwich and did not taste good at all. They refused. My advice: stay away.

Top notch service. Excellent food . Atmosphere was charming. Will return as soon as I can.

We live nearby and waited anxiously for the re-opening of a nearby restaurant. We were greeted warmly by several employees. The menu offers a variety of casual foods and drinks. The outdoor atmosphere is relaxing. The water feature and large pine trees help to buffer Rt 201 traffic noise.Our water, Sonny, was friendly and efficient. We ordered the homemade chips with dip. The chips were served cold, would have liked them to be warm (ie. fresh out of a fryer), and the dip was watery (would have liked it to be more like a chip dip, this was closer to salad dressing). I had a "Pittsburgh" salad with typical lettuce, cucumber, tomato, cheese and fries. Salad was mostly lettuce, but all ingredients were fresh and crunchy.After dining we wandered around the building a bit to see historical memorabelia. Upon leaving, was warmly met with thanks for visiting and to have a good night.

Walked in and it just felt like Sweeneys with more tables. Sat down and looked at the menu and you can definitely tell it's owned by the people who own Sonny's, overpriced bar food. Didn't even stay once I saw Fried chicken dinner was almost $20

I was looking forward to going to the new Belle Taveren in Rostraver. I remembered growing up eating my share of "Sweney Special" sandwiches. Unfortunately, I was disappointed in their version of the club sandwich. The original sandwich was a triple-decker, turkey salad with Russian dressing, on white toast. The new version was a large pile of turkey salad on two slices of white bread. By the time I got the sandwich, the turkey salad had soaked into the bread and turned to mush! It was tasty, but I had to eat it with a fork. I'll be back soon to try their version of the "Stringhill's Pizzaburger". I hope I'm not disappointed again.
