The Avenue Bar & Grill

Went in and place is larger inside than what appears from outside. Prompt attention at bar area and cook creates delicious food from the menu! Can't wait to try their burgers next!

Great burgers and wings, good prices, and one of the better bars in Moundsville. Staff is always friendly and I think they still do weekly trivia.

The drinks are fabulous, the food divine, can't go wrong with stopping by this hole in the wall! I had The Big Island Burger which was juicy and delicious! The bun was grilled a nice crispy inside but still soft and fresh. The grilled onions and grilled pineapple topped off a well made burger patty. Also had the onion rings, yum! The staff was great and attentive!

What a little hole in the wall! I had what is one of the best burgers I've ever had (easily top 5). My friend had wings, and we shared bacon cheese fries and hot cheese poppers (I think that is what they were called). Everything was wonderful! Out of all the restaurants we stopped at on our trip to WV, my burger beat out every single one. As far as parking, there's a lot behind the gas station or you can park on the street.

Absolutely disgusting. Walked in. Stayed 10 seconds. Long enough to inhale the stale smoke and urine stench. Walked out.

Great place for the best burgers and wings and the coldest beer in town. Really good atmosphere and friendly staff. You won't regret stopping and eating here.

The wings are absolutely amazing. The bartender Shannon was a darling. She suggested the Dusty wings, which were ridiculously good. We also had the honey gold which were equally as good! Cold beer, good food, friendly service. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone

Didn't realize it was an actual BAR-bar with smoking, gambling, and ID checks when going with some family for a casual lunch, but once we got past the initial surprise it was actually a very pleasant atmosphere, good music, fast and friendly service, and delicious food. The hawaiian burger was excellent, with perfectly hot and crisp fries.

We were in town on vacation and wanted to support a small local place. The menu looked good so we stopped in for some food. They were extremely busy but the service and food was great. The cook had a lot of orders but never lost her great attitude. I would recommend this place to everyone. We will visit this place every time we are in town.
