Just so everyone is aware @thealternativefoodtruck made a deal with NBYB to give a portion of their profits back to the organization. They were here for 2 weekends and refused to give a dime. When approached about it, they called the woman a b&$!* and said she was talking like a n$&!*. Please do not ever use them for any events! They robbed our organization which only supports kids playing baseball. And a lot of the money they received was from people of color buying their food!!!!!Will consider withdrawing my review if you decide to honor your arrangement made with NBYD and donate a portion of your profits to those kids as promised

Fantastic pulled pork sandwich! I can't bring myself to try a burger or anything else because I love that sandwich so much. Food is made quick and with care. The BBQ sauce is great

Good food. Recommend the pulled pork sandwich.Soda was a little pricey - $1.25 for a can. Opted for the $1 bottle of water instead. Otherwise prices seemed reasonable.

The Alternative is a food truck serving a variety of burgers and fried foods.I found them by the parking lot on 20th street in the Strip on Fridays.A specialty I tried was the Stuffed Chix Wings ($5.00): Three whole wings stuffed with spicy meat blend and cheeses, served with chunky blue cheese dressing, ranch, or buffalo sauce. It's a huge portion and was well put together. The meat mixture tastes like hot Italian sausage, and is inserted into the wing below the skin.It also came with thick, natural cut fries that were on par with Potato Patch.The staff was friendly and more than happy to talk about the menu.Some Other menu items: Classic 1/2 pound burger/cheese burger. The If U Dare, with a mixture of jalapenos, habaneros, Anaheim, new mexico, de arbol, red and green bell, poblano peppers, and ancho and red chiles topped with pepper jack cheese and Tabasco mayo.The Defibulator, a double burger.The Weenie Burger, 1/2 ib grilled hot dog with smoked bacon and cheese.

I love the lamb burger with tzatziki. And the southern fries with pulled pork. And the yummy, buttery pretzels. The owners are fun to talk to while you wait. Good service. I would have posted a picture of the food but I ate it before I thought of it!

This was the first time I ordered from a food truck and I'm glad I did. My son had chicken fingers and fries $6.50, real chicken and fries he said it was the best he ever had. I had a chicken taco $2.50 this was by far the best taco I ever had. The food is cooked to order. Big portions, great quality and friendly service.
