Be prepared for spice! Got takeout tonight. My husband and I both had pad thai which was very solid just be ready for spice. I got a 3/5 which is pretty typical for me and it was on the spicier end IMO. Will def be ordering again soon!

A very delicious Thai restaurant tucked in the neighborhood in Glenshaw. The service was quick and always attentive! And the ambience was perfect for either a friend get together or a date night. This is just personal preference, but I'm not a fan of BYOB places, but Thai tamarind is a BYOB place just to let you know! My friend and I went and had a really nice dinner! We started off with the crab Rangoon's that were extremely delicious and will order those every time I go! It wasn't like a classic crab Rangoon, it had a touch of curry in it, which added SO MUCH flavor and didn't even make it spicy. It was just so full of flavor! I then ordered the special fried rice, which was this beautifully cooked fried chicken with a bed of fried rice and a side of a chili sauce that was absolutely amazing and my friend had the fresh ginger meal, which was a bunch of delicious looking veggies and a side of white rice! We each ordered a beverage. I got the Thai iced tea which was extremely delicious and not too sweet and my friend got the ginger lemonade that she said was really good! Additionally, all of our rice dishes came out in the shape of a heart which was an adorable touch!!

I really wanted to like this place and maybe I visited on an off day. We visited on a Saturday evening around 5:30pm. Only two tables came in during the busy hours. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. We ordered the crab rangoons, shrimp pad Thai, chicken massaman curry, and a Thai iced tea. The crab rangoons had a curry flavor to it. It was a nice spin to regular rangoons and the presentation was wonderful. There was very little crab in it though. The shrimp pad Thai was a little too sweet for my taste but the shrimp were a pretty decent size and cooked well. The massaman curry sauce was tasty. The vegetables were undercooked. The carrots still had a crunch to them and the onions were old. It seemed like they used an old dry onion in this dish. Also, the chicken was in chunks and too thick for the sauce to get through the center. Thinly slicing the chicken would have resulted in a better tasting meat compared to the blandness we had. Unsure if I would go back again.

The service was amazing! Our waiter was super nice and helpful. I love the atmosphere. Food was really good! The crab rangoons had a hint of curry powder which I thought was very good! Both got a level 1 out of 5 spice and it wasn't to bad. Definitely will be back.

We thoroughly enjoyed this place -- really everything. The service was warm and gracious. The food was excellent and well presented. And the setting was cozy -- really like eating in a neighborhood. We especially enjoyed the soft-shell crab appetizer, which we understand is seasonal. But, the soup, summer rolls, salad and noodles were all excellent as well. We're glad this place is here now. We'll be back!
