Tastyland

Tastyland is indeed quite tasty. Made a stop a few days ago, ordered the cheeseburger, fries and apple cider milkshake. The burger is delicious - drippy and messy with the perfect amount of condiments. It's absolutely what a burger should be. Fries are hot and crispy. The milkshake tasted as if a whole slice of apple pie was blended in. It's staffed with mostly high schoolers and they do a great job. Polite and efficient. All seating is outside, and we found a spot near the hillside where we could view the beautiful Pennsylvania fall colors.

1st time visiting Tastyland. Known for their gigantic ice cream cookie sandwiches & smash burgers. We had soft serve & the ice cream cookie sandwich, which was made freshly! There were long lines that moved efficiently. Definitely want to go check out the smash burgers & the stuffed cookies. They looked amazing.

Visited over the summer- It was ok, but definitely not the best ice cream I've ever had. I don't think I'd return, unless I was in the area. It's about a 20 minute drive and in my opinion, I'd rather go somewhere closer. I do like the options that they have, and it's a fun menu. I got soft serve and my husband got a warm cookie type sundae. He didn't really love his either. It was insanelyyyyy busy though, which is to be expected in the summer.

The SpongeBob popsicles are very delicious and the ice cream itself is very good like the root beer float I recommend very good place

Well, let me tell you about our wild adventure starting right off Route 66 at none other than Tastyland. Picture this: the whole gang, including the munchkins, embarked on a culinary journey of epic proportions. Our target? The one and only "Parent Trap" - a tantalizing concoction that boasts brownies, cookies, Oreo cookies (because one kind just isn't enough), all mingling harmoniously within a swirl of vanilla and chocolate ice cream. Guys, this treat was no solo mission. It required a brave team of five to tackle its sweet summit. The verdict? Phenomenal doesn't even begin to cover it. Now, even my own little rascals chimed in with their cautionary tales of sugar overload. But yes, was it a symphony of flavors! Richness that'd make a millionaire jealous, and the taste? Oh, the taste was so good, it practically needed its own red carpet. So there you have it, a sugar-loaded escapade that'll be etched in our memory - and on our taste buds - for years to come.

Tastyland has very good food with large portions. It's probably best to go here for food OR ice cream. Don't try to get both at once -- it will be expensive, and you'll likely end up with leftovers, maybe even wasted food! (How do you save a partially eaten sundae?)The restaurant does accept credit cards for payment.There is no indoor dining area -- this is a walk up to the window and order place. The outdoor dining is open and spacious with lots of covered tables and benches spread out from each other. The unlined parking lot is also very large.The visiting chickens are no longer around the restaurant.The restaurant itself, as well as the lot and tables, are very clean, and the staff is pleasant and quick!

We have come to Tastyland a couple of times for ice cream, and it is always really good. Recently, we heard from a couple of people that Tastyland had really good burgers. We did get food on a Sunday in July of 2024. The food was pretty good, but I was let down a bit from reports of "really good burgers."

I have only had great food from Tastyland including burgers, fries, sundaes, and landslide/Arctic freeze. They have a standard menu and also have weekly flavors and monthly specials. They have gluten free buns available and a few dairy free options. Service is quick and places to eat - picnic tables and pavilions with wheelchair accessible tables.

I genuinely don't understand the hype about this place.For starters customer Service honestly isn't great. It's not horrible but not great either. I won't get into that though as it's irrelevant to my review. The food is mediocre at best honestly. The onion rings are literally $1 a piece with no flavor and the fries are overcooked in low quality old oil. At least that's what they tasted like. I got the special burger which had horsie sauce and smoked Gouda which legit had zero flavor. It tasted like any other mediocre cheeseburger. We were super excited to try this place and even though it wasn't a total let down, it also wasn't good. I'd skip this place and spend my money elsewhere

First time here and it was a good experience. The Greek burger was excellent and a great addition to menu! Ice cream was very good. Will be back.
