Top-notch Indian restaurant across from Children's Hospital! I stopped by for their weekday lunch special ($15.99 for buffet with drinks included). They had soo many different options! My favorites were the tandoori chicken and vegetable samosas, but the chicken tikki masala was a close second! The complimentary mango lassi was creamy & refreshing and paired with the food well. Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!!

Lovely little restaurant in the heart of Bloomfield, and one of the few Indian places nearby open on a Sunday! It's pretty busy on the weekends so definitely come early. The food was fresh and portions were large. We loved the samosa chaat and would definitely order it again and again. The butter chicken was decent but the meat was less tender than expected. The marinade base was great though!

Seated immediately on Wednesday evening for table of 2. Probably the best food I've had during my trip in Pennsylvania (including Philly). My friend and I ordered the mango lassi, chai, samosa chaat, chicken vindaloo, saag paneer, paneer naan, and gulab jamun. Mango lassi = 5/5 delicious and creamy and refreshing. Chai = 5/5 I love sweet drinks and this definitely was sweet enough and comforting with its warmth. Samosa chaat = 5/5 such an amazing appetizer with so much flavor and textures. Chicken vindaloo = 4/5 chicken was tender but overall dish wasn't as great as the others. Still good though!Saag paneer = 5/5 soooo delicious and probably my favorite dish of the night.Paneer naan = 5/5 highly recommend if you want cheese and extra flavor & texture in your naan.Gulab jamun = 5/5 for me as a sweets lover - I can handle very sweet things but my friend found it too sweet to handle, so just a heads up if you aren't able to handle sweets!Service was spectacular and I would highly recommend this spot to anyone!

Very flavorful dishes, fast service, and reasonable prices!! Great ambience inside, will definitely be back! Also very conveniently located across the street from UPMC children's!

I ended up here after a friend reccomend it and I was not let down. The spice in this food must be love. It reminded me of when my Indian landlord in NY used to feed me. I got the chicken Vindaloo and it was astounding. I could eat that every day. I got the spice level 6 and that was perfect. I can't wait to come back as this place might be small but it's packed with big flavors and the staff are attentive.

The lamb saag was amazing. I love a really creamy sauce and the meat was super tender. The samosa chatt was also really really good I loved the chunks of soggy samosa in there and the yogurt was the perfect balance amount. The calamari pakora is where it really feels apart. I think the crust was too thick and not cooked properly all the way though. Wasn't a huge fan and did finish but it didn't stop me from enjoying everything else greatly.

The ambiance was cozy and inviting, making it the perfect place for a relaxing meal.Our server was the most polite server I've ever met. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations. Their friendly demeanor and prompt service made our dining experience exceptional.The food was outstanding! For our main course, we had chicken tika masala both cooked to perfection with rich, aromatic spices. The naan was freshly baked and the perfect accompaniment to our dishes.Overall, Taste of India exceeded our expectations. The combination of delicious food, excellent service, and a warm atmosphere makes it a must-visit. We can't wait to come back and try more from their menu!

I absolutely love the samosa chatt and they have the BEST butter chicken!The service is always very attentive. The actual interior of the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired but the food makes it worth it.

Horrible quality of food. They are using the name "India", but the food is not authentic Indian at all. I am sad that I landed up there. Will never go there again!
