We went there Black Friday. I had a flat bread pizza with everything, it was great. My wife had the Italian panini. At least that's what she said. Her quote was it was definitely a pinion. So..... They are family owned and been in business for 7 years. Their K9 companion's name is Copper. He's a good dog. He came and checked on us a couple times before he went out side. They have a lot of signs and gadgets on the walls. I really liked it there. I hope to come back again someday. I'll need the get a refill on my five alarm. Give them a try when you get a chance.

A moonshine distillery?! I was looking for wineries as I was staying at a cabin in Deep Creek, and this place popped up! Now, I haven't had moonshine since the bootleg stuff that I tried once or twice in college, so this really peaked my curiosity. I shared the info with my friends, and everyone was down to give it a shot. It was about a 30 minute drive, so we saved it until Friday night. Right past the Pennsylvania border, Tall Pines is right off of the highway! As soon as we entered the distillery, it was a festive little gift shop! They had everything from t-shirts and hoodies to jams, jellies, hot sauces, shot glasses, and even dog treats! And the counter straight ahead was lined up with bottles of several flavors of moonshine! Josh, the man behind the counter, was ready to give us an explanation and let us taste the flavors of our choice -- free tastings, by the way! The moonshine flavors were quite vast, including cherry pie, apple pie, caramel, chocolate mint, peppermint, huckleberry, forest fire (their STRONGEST at 140 proof), honey habanero and pine sap (NOT actual pine sap, it was just cinnamon and vanilla). There wasn't a flavor that I disliked, but chocolate mint, huckleberry and caramel were among my favorites! After tasting everything (and before splurging in the shop), we gravitated to the cocktail area, where they use the moonshine flavors to make an array of cocktails (for only $7!) and an outdoor-ish area that was stocked with heat lamps! There was also a bar and chairs around a campfire. Definitely good vibes all around, and I'm willing to bet the place is popping in the summer!! So we enjoyed a few cocktails, and then returned to the shop and bought cool stuff. I got a sample pack, a big bottle of the chocolate mint moonshine, elderberry jelly, vanilla peaches, and a shot glass.Thank you Josh for giving us such an amazing experience! It's a long drive, but I would love to return someday!

We have been to this distillery a few times. The first time was about a year ago and we got a tour in the back of their distillery. We got to sample a few moonshines and we ended up getting their caramel. It was my favorite one. We came back a few months ago for the Pour Tour. We weren't sure how it would be with the restrictions but we were pleasantly surprised here. We got to sample some moonshines still. We purchased one but they built an outside faculty to enjoy cocktails outside. It was closed in and there were propane heaters in there. It felt good and it was snowing outside so it was pretty cool. I know when it's warmer it will be a really nice outdoor space. The service was good and in the in closed patio there was a bartender making us drinks. It's a long drive for us but it was a good visit and very good moonshine.

Great little distillery out in the mountains. Great selection of flavors. Wr went in the middle of the day during the week and were the only ones there. Had some mixed drinks after tasting a few of their offerings. Great covered lounge area came complete with a friendly senior dog.

Such a great place to stop! They offer free samples of moonshine & they have a reasonably priced gift shop stocked with tee shirts, glassware, games, chapsticks, and more! They have a wide variety of moonshine flavors, so there's definitely something for everyone. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for the staff; the owner and the woman behind the counter were SO welcoming and friendly. They answered all of our questions and provided a fantastic experience for our family. There's also a lovely covered outdoor area where they host live music on Friday nights. Make sure you stop! I can't wait to return

We had the best late spring Friday afternoon lunch and drinks! The paninis were "melt in your mouth" delicious. The "moonshine" cocktails and the service were fantastic! I highly recommend a fun afternoon or evening at Salisbury's Tall Pines. We are looking forward to many more visits this summer.
