Tailgatez Sports Grill

Stopped in for another lunch during work and we were sat right away. I will say our service this time was much better than my last visit a couple months ago. Our waitress was very attentive and we didn't wait as long for our food this time - maybe 20 minutes or so. Ordered another buffalo chicken wrap and it was very good! Fries excellent with decent ranch. Will be back soon!

My sister-in-law Mallory and I had a great time in Somerset, PA on a spontaneous Ski Trip to Hidden Valley Resort last weekend and TAILGATEZ was an awesome spot to stumble into for dinner and a drink - lots of space, great staff and plenty of televisions if you're trying to catch a game We ordered a Quesadilla (with Chicken) and both agreed that it was in our top 5 favorite of all time. Something about the way they marinated the chicken, it was absolutely delicious - couldn't stop eating. We split the Italian Hoagie that was on their menu too and that was great, very flavorful, plenty of food, but could have been one thin slice of meat meatier Zero complaints, all positive vibes. Thank you for having us Tailgatez - hopefully we'll be back again soon!

The service was great and attentive. All the front of the house staff were wonderful. However, the food was terrible. Beer cheese dip was so salty. Both "medium" burgers were very much well done, the fries were mediocre. The Cajun ranch was pretty good. Only giving three stars because the service was great

I was a bit skeptical about visiting this place. I always drove by it thinking that it is going to be your typical sports bar for the area. I am not a big sports bar fan, but out for a day with the family we decided to give it a shot.You definitely can't miss the building. Driving down the road you see a giant tailgate of a truck with their name on it. No denying that they were spot on with this façade. The inside was like I assumed, your typical sports bar for the area. Sports memorabilia hangs on the walls. Jerseys from Pittsburgh sports teams that are autographed hang on the wall and I believe local sports teams have a place here too.The only downside I had while here was the service. Our server was a bit flighty and kind of avoided us. She didn't have some answers and had to come back. It took a while to get our drinks and then refills after that. But like I said, this was the only downside. Once our food orders were in, we kind of let that slide.For the appetizer I went with pierogis. You get a half dozen of pierogi that are slathered in butter and sauteed onions. I do not know if they were premade off the shelf. If they are, then praise to them for doctoring them up. But they were great. Perfectly cooked, and that butter almost had them swimming, the onions were cooked to the point where they kind of just melded into the pierogi itself.For the main course I went with the Texas Burger. I waivered over the menu for a bit because a lot on the menu looks great. That just gives me a reason to come back. The Texas Burger comes with cheddar cheese, onion rings, bacon, and KC BBQ sauce drizzled over it. You can get the burger in a 1/2 lb. or 1/4 lb. This burger is big and definitely a belly bomb that will sit there for a hot minute once you are done. I also have to say that that BBQ sauce and onion rings (which are made in house) are amazing on the burger. I was a bit messy from eating this, but I didn't care because it was that good.This comes with a side of fries and a pickle spear. Fries were amazing and the pickle spear was a nice crisp refresher to the whole meal.I definitely left here with a full stomach and very satisfied.

We have a summer place in Somerset and have been here a few times Today we ordered zucchini planks that were very thin and grease drenched They looked horrible The waitress took them back to the kitchen and came out and said their on the house the prep cook cut them too thin ....Our friend got an Italian wish hoagie three piece of meat w lettuce and tomato Horrible ....Horrible We ordered a pizza $27 for grease it rolled off the piece Then the Stella Artois was on special for $6.50 a beer I don't know about a special Hmmm Stay away Maybe they'll pay attention to the food coming out of the kitchen and get back to making good food for the price

So I was passing through and was so tired and hungry. Booked a hotel and this had somewhat good reviews . Called and calledCouldn't get through so I decided to drive there and order and have a drink to wait for my food. Almost 100% sure they water down their vodka. Had to get a second shot just to taste alcohol. Take out burgers were ok nothing to write home about medium cooked must mean well done . I didn't expect a lot and that's what I got. Not sure there are very many better choices.

We had amazing service (thanks Eric!) food and beers were great - and reasonable! Wings are killer! We loved chili Thai and hot/sweet. Great place for kids to play and give mom and dad a break!

The inside and outside were great. The food was another story. The wings were fried too hard, just laying on top of the , tossed and coated. Lukewarm when served. The cheesesteak was almost nonexistent in the bun which was hard and crusty. Lukewarm also. The fries were ok. Both meals were luke warm at best. On the bright side the beer was in a frosted glass and cold! The bartender was too involved with current gossip with another employee while we waited to have our order taken. Tried to interact with her, but she couldn't be bothered. No tip! Proceed with caution when visiting this restaurant.

We went on wing night, Tuesday if this week. Food was awesome. I had the garlic parm wings and the hubs had the spicy ranch both were done to perfect crispness. They have the absolutely best coleslaw I have ever had. Mile high nachos were yum! We had them with the pulled pork. Our waiter was awesome as usual. We will continue to keep this on our list of favorites. It is my preferred place for wings. Parking is plenty and the restaurant is always clean with friendly staff . Bathrooms are clean as well which is a good sign in my book always. It means they have a manager with attention to detail.

I ate at the bar - Lauren is very good-crazy busy and hard working . They could use a second bartender.The food is good, but eating at the bar on a busy night the service is slow.
