Szechuan Garden

East coast Chinese is vastly different (wayyy better on East coast) than the west coast where I now live. My first stop home is always Szechuan garden!

This is some of the better Chinese food in the Greensburg area. Online ordering and delivery available. They have Chinese fare and also some Thai. Had the pad Thai last night and it was the best I've eaten for some time. Give them a try. It's pretty decent.

This restaurant has always been one of my favorites for years. It's my favorite Chinese restaurant to sit down and eat at. The low lighting really makes it a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. I highly recommend the egg rolls and crab rangoons. The crab rangoons are the sweetest ones in the area and the sweat and sour sauce gives it an added touch. Other than that, I typically get the chicken and broccoli with white rice. The staff is always friendly and quick to ring you up for take out. Even though it is slightly over priced, it's still one of my favorite.

First time here and I will definitely be back. Excellent Chinese (American Chinese) food, fresh outstanding seafood. I had CS14 Crispy Walnut Combo (shrimp and scallops), definitely would get again. Flavorful sauce, labeled spicy but I found not too spicy. Small restaurant with lots of take out business. BYOB which we did not know in advance, so plan accordingly!!

Found this place through Yelp! and absolutely loved it! It is an unassuming building, just a strip mall with an Ollie's next door but don't let that fool you. The food is amazing. Service was great also despite there being continual takeout orders going out which we took as another sign that people love this place. The menu is extensive and there are many dishes on there you will not find at your typical Chinese restaurant in Southwestern PA. Presentation was fantastic, the plates looked scrumptious. We will definitely be going back often despite the almost hour drive it takes us from our woodland home. Highly recommend.

Updated review: This restaurant is still a favorite with our family. Don't let the location and outside appearance keep you from stopping in for lunch, dinner or picking up takeout. The appearance inside is very nice and well decorated. This was a farewell dinner for family member who is returning to her home in the south. I was very happy with my choice of the Amazing Chicken, while husband got his usual Orange Shrimp. Our guest doesn't order this type of food very often but she thoroughly liked the Hawaiian Chicken. The portions wore very generous and presented well. If asked for a suggestion for improvement it would be to have friendlier servers. Our server did the basics, but not with any smile or personality. Our food was packed up efficiently but no conversation or eye contact. My take away is that I have had far worse service at other places and the food here was very good.

Excellent food and service! The atmosphere is very nice. Great place for Chinese food if you are in the Greensburg area. Pad Thai and Amazing Chicken dinner entrees were tasty.

Just got delivery from door dash. Delivery was great, hot food! The shrimp lo me was extremely greasy, the egg rolls were extremely greasy and the crab ragoons were disgusting! New owners, new cooks, don't care! I'm not ordering anything from this place again!

Szechuan Garden was our favorite restaurant when we lived here. We have been on the west coast for 10 years and were anxious to return. I went off menu and had amazing shrimp egg foo young...the other members of my party also thoroughly enjoyed their dining experiences!!

I was amazed that the hot and sour soup was so authentic. Food is well prepared and flavorful. I will definitely return. New York City has lost most of its good Chinese restaurants and the Tampa Bay area has no decent Chinese restaurants at all. Thai is better in Tampa and that is also a favorite cuisine.
