Swissvale Dari Delite

There are so many ice cream meccas in our city and nearby. This one is close to me so I definitely wanted to try it.Though I was happy with my selection, just a simple sundae, I was a bit disappointed on such a small selection of flavors.

Great edition to Swissvale! We have been here several times over the summer and I'm so happy to see them doing good business. Everything is reasonably priced. They do sell some food items along with ice cream. Every visit I find myself ordering the same thing - a peanut butter sundae. It is so good I can't seem to order anything else! My husband on the other hand has ordered several items off the menu- cones, cups and milkshakes. All were very good! We typically park one block over and walk but they do have a few parking spots alongside the building. We love their seating in the back. There are several picnic tables with lights. The shop is seasonal so get there while its open!

The soft serve is delicious and a very nice sized cone that keeps your tongue happy. Make sure you get Jimmies which are pink & purple and so yummy. The owner is so beautiful inside & out and just brings smiles to my face everytime I stop there.

I am so happy to have this gem in my neighborhood. No summer is complete without the occasional ice cream sundae. It's especially great that they have dairy-free ice cream and almost all the toppings are naturally dairy free. The reggae music and shaded picnic tables in the back are also a nice touch.

Perfect spot!!!! Super cute atmosphere. Service is what you'd expect at an ice cream window- but very quick!I also LOVE that they have different sizes of ice cream sundaes!!!

It's a favorite local great and friendly ice cream place. Very popular and loved by locals and others. Have YOU tried the ice cream here? If not, You Should!!

Really glad we stopped here for a springtime treat! This place feels like a hidden gem. The menu is somewhat limited but has all the soft serve shop essentials and a little more. Prices are very reasonable, portions are generous, and the woman working was super friendly.I was thrilled that they have a dairy free soy ice cream option, which was very tasty! Slightly less creamy than regular ice cream, but a very good texture. The flavor was vanilla and quite sweet. Can't wait to return to try their blended ice cream 'blizzards'.

Fantastic new addition to Swissvale! This place just opened last month so my wife and I had to go try it out on a sweltering summer day. The shop is really cute and has an old-school look and feel to it compared to the rest of the shops along Monongahela Ave (vibrant colors!). Service is quick and very friendly and the prices are super reasonable. They have a small bench right near the shopfront and a couple picnic tables around the back with umbrellas. Not a ton of seating but enough for this location.I got a milkshake with peanut butter and vanilla (the person who helped me kindly mixed the flavors since I was dithering between the two). My wife got a Swissvale Swirl (basically a blizzard) with oreo chunks. We really enjoyed them both and will definitely come back!

Neighborhood gem for cold treats! (Also hot dogs.) Menu is varied, including sundaes, cones, and ice cream with mix ins ("Swissvale swirls"). Prices are super fair. Staff is quick. And there's a cute gravel-covered back patio with tables and umbrellas where you can sit to eat. Love the colorful mural and the pink flamingoes, too!

Don't live near here but everytime we pass the Swissvale exit think about stopping for great soft-serve at great prices. Yum.
