Excellent local Asian market with impressive range of items. Ex: they have fish sauce in multiple brands, from multiple Asian countries, and even available in different sizes. I can never find fish sauce in a smaller bottle, other than here! They have everything you need from cooking your own dishes from scratch, such as specialty flours/starches, condiments and sauces, to convenience foods, such as international flavors of lay's!, ramen noodles, boxed Korean pancake mix. Frozen : fresh ramen noodles, Ice cream treats (melona bars!)Tofu (no produce) I have to restrain myself from buying everything each time! - you have to go to make your cooking authentic AND support this local business.

I LOVE asian markets and usually head to the strip to get my fix of asian goodies, but was so excited to find an asian market closer to home! I went over the weekend to check it out and was really impressed by how much of a selection they had in this little shop! TONS of noodles, rice, sauces, veggies, alll of the goods! Immediately when I walked in, I noticed some teeny bananas (called thai bananas or apple bananas due to their apple/ banana taste). I was intrigued and inquired about the price to the woman working. Not only did she inform me about the bananas and the difference between these and regular ones but she let me try a whole banana on the house! I was so impressed by her kindness and LOVED the banana. I bought a whole bunch of them and am absolutely going to run back there for more, as I have never seen these in Pittsburgh before this. I also picked up some chinese broccoli, bean sprouts, vegetarian chicken (which was super tasty and only $2.14 a pack!!), thai basil, fresh cilantro, and panda cookies. I was so impressed by the selection in this shop and am so excited to come here on a regular basis! Yay!

My family and I were visiting from NYC and we were going to eat next door at thai me up and had to wait to be seated so we thought of going to Sweet Panda Asian Market. My sis in law and I were standing in front of the store and a worker came, saw us and immediately turned the sign to closed...it was 6:40pm. Their store hours say "Mon-Thr. 10am-7pm".

This is a great place to get fresh ingredients and the staff can help with how to use them. They have real coconut water that is delicious.

Truly miniscule store, bare-bones inventory. No prices on items! Guess this is OK if you're in the neighborhood, ran out of a very-well-known ingredient, and don't wish to drive to Penn Ave.
